True Detective is awesome. First season was reeeeeeallllly good, but didn't leave much for a next season. We'll see where they're planning on going with it

They're going with a completely new set of characters and story next season. Each season will be different cast.

I love that they are doing this too. Less of a chance for the show to stagnate while keeping a similar theme and style.

I'll be watching episode 8 today, heard the finale is awesome. The most awesome moment was easily that 6 minute long tracking shot. I won't say any more so as not to spoil it.

It's hard for me to see how the ensuing seasons will be able to even touch just how freaking good this show is while changing up the characters and stories but I'm excited all the same.

My wife told me that they are gonna go the American horror story route and each season will follow different characters. I didn't do any investigation into this, but she generally knows her stuff.
(I appreciate everyone keeping it spoiler free for me. I'm up to the point where they just went to the ghetto with the bikers.)

You beat me to it, Pelliott. I guess that's confirmation then.

Let Us Prey is the only EW Masterpiece IMO. The original not the remaster. There is just something imperfectly perfect about everything that is that album.

I'm getting a second AOR to slap on top, and I'm changing out the speakers in the Bassman cab. I am going to fucking tear this county's eardrums apart.
