UC, besides the Memory Loss, what are your must-haves?

Are missing knobs an upcharge? Or is that a standard feature?

LOL

Digital Water
Kompakt Kassette
Octave Drone
Memory Loss
Ecomod
The Hysteresis also fascinates me a lot and the Fuzz Overloader is a great fat sounding fuzz, but it's not really out there like a lot of Rhys' pedals. The Mind Warp is is also warm, thick and syrup-y. An amazing vibrato. Man, this is tricky.

What are some of the advantages of the newest ML edition? I'm considering pulling the trigger, would this be the best version to have?

Which newest one? Extra glitchy or regular? Regular I find a bit touchy and has a lower threshold for reset delays but I like the overall tone and oscillation of it. Extra glitchy is a bit more harsh with more background noise but a little more normal to trigger resets. Extra glitchy is a kind of pull back to the older version 1.
I dunno, both are cool. UC has a demo (won't bother you with mine haha...but there is a playlist floating around).
Or the eccodrone? That one is kinda the most refined.
And memory loss can vary pedal to pedal a bit. Haha, not really an easy answer. (Could just be pt2399 variance, but Rhys has said he tweaks that circuit the most. Eccodrone is kind of the final result according to a post from the slime page).

My favourite is the horizontal one, but they are hard to come by.

Got me a Memory Loss. Ugly and Strange Tales...remember that thread where I said I wasn't getting a Pitchgrinder anymore? This is where the money for that went. So thanks!
I do feel somewhat responsible for Memory Loss being back as I did ask via E-mail if he would ever consider making more...so felt kind of obligated to get it...I mean I wanted it too but...you know.
Yes...I am very bitter the ONE DAY I didn't check the site for TOM SLIME is the day it got sold...lol
Still waiting on Ugly's rig rundown and guts folder.

what does the tom slime even do? i really love slime's aesthetic, but his descriptions are too fucking vague for a $300 purchase

That's how I felt about the Dataphase. That things was like $350 at first, the he got it under $300.
Anyway...I could be wrong...but it is a 'random effect sequencer'...it has a light sensitive trigger which (I think) goes through random modulation effects in tandem with a circuit bend.
I basically liken it to a Chorus/Flanger/Phaser/misc. meets Bleep Labs The Thingamagoop 3000.

This is currently on Rhys' homepage:
So he's still doing some pedals with the Seppuku logo? And his e-mail address has changed.

I think he has his old files aka his old designs, but no new computer to make the new designs. He's been living at a friend's house while said friend is on vacation or something, so I'm guessing that's how he's still able to build pedals, even if they have the old design.

He built another TOM SLIME. Just bought. Everything is going to be okay. This batch and the Cooper Fx stuff and I'm done buying pedals for the summer...
