No, they believe in government, but only EXCLUSIVELY when it's paid off to help them keep their things.
We're almost in a libertarian paradise as it is.
Johnson just has to sit back and manipulate dissatisfaction with the two party system and hope people project all of their hopes and dreams onto him. He doesn't have to base his arguments on the fact that actual Libertarianism is based on a regressive ideology that believes in economics 200 years behind its time (and 200 is generous).

I am an anarchist but I have to deal with the society that I am living in.
My big problem with this government is the 100+ billion that we spend on corporate subsidies and the 600 billion we spend on the military.

That was the point about the internet.
I miss the days when "Libertarian" was basically code for "Weed smoking Republican".

I guess it's a good thing he's a libertarian and not an anarchist.
prepare for baseless generalizations
The main issue I've had with being a Libertarian is that it seems a lot of Libertarians (or at least the ones that are noticed the most) are either psuedo-anarchists that are on welfare/work in lower-level government jobs for money, rich conservatives that want to seem more down-to-earth than Republicans, and your crazy motherfucker that thinks we should be able to sell heroin to 10 year olds because "freedom."
I imagine most of the sane Libertarians are like sane Republicans and Democrats, they don't shout from the rooftops about shit no one really cares about.
Please don't lump in libertarians with anarchists.
Or at least please understand there are as many kinds of anarchism as there are anarchists.
Also, please understand that having to live on welfare does not invalidate an anarchist critique. Everyone has to survive under Capitalism, and sometimes that involves doing things that are at odds with your political analysis. No matter who you are or what your analysis is.

There are Democrats, there are Republicans and then there's everybody else.

I wasn't, that's why I said "psuedo-anarchists" as a reference to the Anarchists that call themselves Libertarians for whatever reason.
Also, the jab at anarchists on welfare had more to do with the whole "Libertarians want to abolish welfare" argument I've seen all over the place (I'm not sure if anyone mentioned it here, though) than any suggestion that being on welfare invalidates someone's political views.

Would like to point out that I don't appreciate Chank judging us based on how dumb we think.
