Yeah I'm pretty heavy on the fretting, lots of room for string fart there.
What if I replaced the nut to give the strings some clearance?
Actually....do I want to fuck with this guitar that much?
Fuck. Now I dunno.

Doesn't appear to be. I just got a Hovercraft Andromeda so I only have money for the cab. I'll hit up my friend with a van and see if I can figure something out

Bummer man. That looks pretty exact to mine, except maybe in better shape. The 1200s is fucking WAY louder than my Simms or my verellen. No contest. If by any chance he is thinking about parting with it, Fucking get it. Or get it for one of us. we could work something out.
good luck getting the cab man, looks awesome.

I dunno, don't like clean white, and theres not enough black to break it up.
Classic/alpine/not-quite whites rule.

 It's only 9:15.
And I'm drinking beer.

Tried the "master volume all the way up, preamp as volume control" last night on my Soldano. HOLY FUCK!!! Sounded so fucking huge and I actually like my cleans now. Overall it was louder too. I never tried it before except on my 2204 and it had too much background noise. Soldano is dead quiet unless I stand right in front of the amp. Black Forest sounds awesome, especially being boosted by an SD1 that I modded.

Who was it that was asking a few pages back about how the Ritual sounds on bass? Tried it at the last show we played and then at practice last night. If you haven't tried it yet fucking do it. Sounds nice and thick.

I was and I did.* :thumb:

Glad to hear your Master cranked pre-to-taste worked out the way it was supposed to - I remember Goldfish yelled at me when I suggested it but it's always worked well for my guitarists.

*I will say that it definitely loses a bit of low end compared to my clean signal, which is super dark and dubby. But it's a fuzz face flavor - I expected that.
