Being a dad is the most rewarding ever, especially when you have a rad ass turd for a son like me. He got this note sent home the other day but when I read it I couldn't be mad.

Catharsis version of Revolution is rockin'.

As is that note. Serious cred.

NGD. Well, I got it last week. But I paid so little for it ($110) that I was worried there was something wrong with it. Took it to my tech and picked it up today. It looks, sounds and plays great:

Funny thing is that I had a  moment when I picked it up and my tech was working on someone's Epiphone G-400 and installing Matt Pike Laces in it.

Nice haul Conk!
Also, I hope to one day write a report card like that for every kid I teach.
At the very least, I hope I'm fortunate enough to teach a kid like that.

So I'm heading home from GA. Before leaving I was looking at Craigslist ads for gear on my route. Found a turbo rat for a good price. So I called the guy and he was older and said that he wasn't sure when he got it but it was pretty old. I picked it up today and man, talk about pleasantly surprised. Lm308n chip and based on the date of the pots it's a 1995. Tried it out on his rig and it sounded great. Far better then the new rat I tried at guitar center not too long ago.

After having the PDX I really wanna try and bond with a real Rat....but I feel like I'll just go, "meh" again.
I loved it stacked with the BF, gave me a real thick Kylesa sludge, but I couldn't do anything else with it.
For you guys that can operate rats though, that is a sweet score, dude.
