I lived in Eugene from 200-2008. It seems like we should have known each other. Did you live there then?
Danny put me up at his mansion when Mike Scheidt and I were playing together and came out to a warehouse show where he was one of only 20 people in attendance. I hate his band but he's a really nice dude.
nope, i moved here in 2010, but started trying to get here from the middlewest in '07...you know, logistics!
Yah re: Danny Carey - i've heard many tales of him being first class from several of my friend's bands out grinding the road. He'll put ya up and let you jam his gear!

wow…that amp is monstrous!
tonight, i was aimlessly surfing the net and came across my next guitar i think…i would probably change pickups to humbucker bridge and P90 neck, i can't do 3 single coils. But small price to pay for a bound neck jag baritone!

There's a massive thread on that guitar in the gear forum (or maybe the guitar forum, I forget).

You know, the 2 gain channels are ok - but nothing mind blowing. Of course, i've been a pedal guy for a long time and never really bonded with gain channels much on amps. I feel i get so much more UMPF out of boxes
now, the clean channel, wholey bat shit monkey balls!

Hovercraft Andromeda came on Monday and I still haven't snapped a pic or recorded some clips. Still getting it dialed in but man with a BAT Superlead running into it it sounds fucking killer. Just the right amount of raw fuzziness that the smoother OR-15 lacked for me. There's so many options on this thing it'll take me a while before I have everything exactly how I want it.
Will post a clip and some pics soon. It has caused me to GAS for another B-Custom cab but I'm limiting myself on gear purchases now until I am out of school and employed.

i would be more inclined to go with a plexi Iceman with a aluminum neck...it would have aluminum binding on the body and plexi over fret neck binding.
i tried to find a picture...but no one has done one...yet...
OOOOOOOHHH SHIIIIT.
I just came a little.
I wanted to cast a plexi mould one years ago, but I never got around to it. Aluminium neck would be titties.

All I will say, is they are all ready here and they're all ready talking to us. Just think about the technological advances of the last 70 years, and think about how movies went from making aliens out to be worse than communist russia during the cold war, to them being friendly and able to live amongst the human race. That wasn't on accident.
Skip, you rule. You hate people so much, you're willing to discredit all human progress, its awesome.
Holy fuck.
Those are pretty well priced, but I'd be gunning for the 400, talking him down (if you can, although, that is a pretty fair price @$450) and getting some swank pups in there (I've always wanted to put heshers in mine ). You won't be sorry.
I have a dimebucker in my other one, want to put it in my 400, but I may opt for the Avedissian rail splitter when I can afford it. Sex.
That old school one with the sliding pup belongs in a museum. Considering how rare those are becoming and how mint that one is...that price is pretty fucking reasonable to me. Most of those you see (if you see am at all) are humped. At least not as nice as that.

That Yob album looks killer. I think it is my favorite looking one out of the bunch. It has black white and brown splatter that perfectly matches the artwork. Listening to it now and my son looks at me funny when the vocals kick in but he digs it.
