Cast as one piece.

Jizzariffic.

Keep up Vid!
i would be more inclined to go with a plexi Iceman with a aluminum neck...it would have aluminum binding on the body and plexi over fret neck binding.

i tried to find a picture...but no one has done one...yet...

I got an Iceman as a high school graduation present. I was all about White Zombie at the time. The only thing that sucked about that guitar was the neck dive and the neck pickup crapped out on me. It was comfortable to play and the neck was really nice. I gotta get outta this thread before I end up on ebay looking for one.

All I will say, is they are all ready here and they're all ready talking to us. :thumb: Just think about the technological advances of the last 70 years, and think about how movies went from making aliens out to be worse than communist russia during the cold war, to them being friendly and able to live amongst the human race. That wasn't on accident.
AxAxSxS wrote:Skip, Look up a band Called "Hot Victory" they are two drummers who use acoustic kits and triggers and synths and noise weirdo stuff. Very cool. I'm aware of the guys who use triggers for their djenty blast beat bs, that doesn't really interest me. But using it as something to create new ways of fleshing out the overall sound is pretty cool and very interesting IMO.
I will def look into them!!!! I'm mainly excited to be able to build kits in sizes that are completely out of the question for live gigging. I.E; 28x24 (Dia / Length) Kick, 22x18 floor, 18x16 floor, 14x12 rack and a 15x10 snare :yay: I agree with you on adding triggers and pads to add on to the experience not to replace the actual drums, it can add so much depth and substance to songs and help them vary in dynamic and tone.
samzadgan wrote:shit i forgot...i got new pickups for my Iceman...A8 in the bridge and an A2 in the neck, and both can go split coil too...they sound amazingly good. There's a guy in London that does these, he's really fuckin cool and his work is A1++...so much so that a custom builder (Feline) is starting to use his pickups in his guitars...here's a pic for your approval!

This is MY baby though. Right now she's a bit dinged up, and sitting in the garage, but she will be fully fixed this summer. It's purely cosmetic damage and I was so fucking pissed when it happened, but hey, ya drive em, you take your chances. In the mean time it's doom van or a hyundai for me

The classic white thing the Icemen have going on is really classy, Ax, you're right.
One of the many reasons I love mine.
but WTF is up with the strap button...its so unbalanced! I have to move the neck one closer to the neck joint...that is my only beef with the guitar, otherwise its a dream!
I did the same thing with the Iceman bass that I had years ago, about 10 minutes after I got it home. That made it slightly better, but man that thing came down like an executioners axe the second I let go of the neck. That's when I still used those thin Ernie Ball nylon straps though. If I still had it I bet the 4" Levy's leather strap would probably keep it in place fine.

I lived in Eugene from 200-2008. It seems like we should have known each other. Did you live there then?

Yeah, man. I guess I'll be there. Introduce yourself/say hi. I love meeting forum people.

I'll be the tall, scrawny, tattooed drunk guy wearing a country music shirt of some kind and probably scowling about something.

Like really terrible.
It's true.
Danny put me up at his mansion when Mike Scheidt and I were playing together and came out to a warehouse show where he was one of only 20 people in attendance. I hate his band but he's a really nice dude.
