I love the BF-2
It's capable of some really funky sounds. Not like the genre funk, but like some funky junk.
It does the lame buttrock airplane crap really easily so you have to be careful not to fall for that. If you overcome that it's super cool

The BF-2 is the best pedal Boss ever made.
THAT'S RIGHT I SAID IT. CE-1 AND FZ-2 CAN EAT MY BALLZ.

I bought my BF-2 impulsively because a forest but some of the sounds that I found in it surprised me and I don't even really think of the Cure with it anymore. It's kinda just become the coolest modulation pedal that I have.
My favorite boss pedal is the DM-2 though! Not that I've tried them all or anything

I got mine because I was using one friend's BF-3 cause I didn't have any modulation but wanted some, and then another friend said,"You know the BF-2 is like, $60 used and WAY better."

A couple of new additions; the memory toy and the EP booster. I think the memory toy is really quite underrated; nice sounds.

Moving things sideways now too haha.

How do you like the Supernatural? I have one on the way -- hoping it'll be a good variant on the 'verb from my amps.
Also I like the Memory Toy much, much more than the Carbon Copy and the 616... but not more than the Memory Boy

It went to a good home dude, I use it more than my most expensive pedals. If I find a second I'll sell you back yours for cheapsies

No worries dude, I never used it enough anyway, sometimes I just wish I had more non dirt pedals haha

I think the Supernatural is amazing. But bear in mind it is my first reverb pedal. I typically just use the plate setting, but when I really want to get into ambient territory, which in my band context only happens when we are struggling to write and everyone has given up, i just start playing ambient things and it shines. Really really dig it. Settings like shimmer don't overpower either...well they can, but if you want to use them more subtly its easy.
Supernatural = pretty darn awesome.
Is the Memory Boy much better? I got the Toy second hand (same as the EP) coz it was pretty cheap and I was very impressed by it. I've always loved the Carbon Copy and have been looking for a used one, but played the toy and thought, screw it, i'll just get it! Good choice. haha.

yeah it's after. I kinda like the subtlety of it after, i may move it eventually but atm it works for me. I like how it affects the dirt rather than kinda just being on top of it...if you get what I mean? haha
