is it just me or the echo and pitch knobs are waaay too close to the switches?
plus: the name sounds like a mash-up of Muse albums, which is bad.
Besides that, demo sounds cool but it didn't make my head spin.

Peak has received several updates in their new firmware rollout. They've added 43 wavetables (bringing the total to 60), micro-tuning, new presets, and improved the modulation matrix.

So happy about this update. I just got a Peak about a week ago. Hopefully going to spend some time with it and this new update this weekend!

Guild also produced a Jet-Star in the late 90s/early 2000s, which was essentially a reissue of the 60s Thunderbird. That model has been back in production for the last year, but it's currently known as the S-200 T-Bird. They've also continued making Jet-Star basses in various incarnations over the past few decades, but I think this will be the first 6-string version of the S-50 since the 60s.
Anyone ever pick one of these up? I’m interested in ‘em ...

There's one at the store I teach at. It's pretty nice, surprisingly comfortable and light for such a large body.

They *seem* a little more mellow than Gibson minis, but it could just be the kinda dead strings. Still tighter/clearer than a PAF, but fairly smooth.
