Based on this description alone, I am most likely never going to give this band a chance. Post minimalist? srsly?
Fuck you.

I'm chopping this down a bit and sigging it.

Zs is one of my favorite bands. Saw them a few years back with the Locust, Sleeping People and Yip Yip, thinking it was a joke. Sleeping people...Zs....Sleeping people...ZZzzzzzz
Anywho, that description is horrid...I don't get why people try to box things. I just like their approach to music and think that it's undeniable how much skill they have, despite what Howard Stern may say. Listen to New Slaves title track or the Hard EP and I promise you've never heard anything on the same level. That song above is so good. I'm currently communicating with the guitar player with glasses to record my band this summer. Pretty stoked.
By the way, I went to the local museum and there was a section that was "post-minmalism" and that was my reaction indeed. I simply hate labels...especially, those beginning with post.

If we don't have labels then how do we know what to call music. Like, isn't it just noise? Then again we wouldn't have our senses labeled either. Next thing you know society has broken down into one giant, muddled up game of Pictionary.
On an unrelated note: Does anyone else, upon seeing cars on the side of the highway, begin to wonder if The Rapture has occurred and I'm one of the few people left on Earth?

I have no problem with the genre-izing of bands. I just think the post-whatever nomenclature to be so fucking pretentious,it makes me want to vomit bile all over babies.

I'm going to use the prefix "zero-" when I start up a band. That way it appeals to the 90's alt kids and also looks cutting edge because it isn't "post" or something else all the hip people know by now.
My band will play a mix of hemi-avantcore, contra-brutal jazz and zero-surf.

when i filled out my housing stuff for college i picked my top halls based on these things: "ex: spontaneous use of slip and slide with use of chocolate syrup instead of water..." and "there was an incident involving a catapult flinging a burning chair out a window."

there's no reason i can't get my education on while wilding.
multitasking is an important skill to learn.

I recommend mattress jousting. Each person goes to the end of a long hallway holding a twin sized mattress in front of them like a wall, and then on the count of three run at eachother at full speed. Like so:
