Someone want to explain how to make this work like I want it to? Also, how is it possible that one jack is for both 8 ohm stereo and 4 ohm mono? CONFUSED.

I might be wrong but maybe the 4 ohm mono only works at 8 ohms (two 16 ohm speakers?) if there's another load in the 8 ohm stereo right input. And someone else correct me if I'm wrong here, but if you're running one amp, you'll run it out of the 4 ohm input I thiiiiink?
http://www.cedist.com/sites/default/fil ... rawing.pdf <--- Wiring diagram that shows all you need to know.

Ahhhhh, sweet. How do I wire up the two pairs in the cab? That's the last bit o the puzzle. Sorry I'm bad at this!
You have two 16 ohm speakers so you will want to wire each pair in parallel so that the pos and neg from the diagram go to each speaker. +Y -Y The bottom of the Y's would go to where the diagram leaves off, and the top to it's respective connection on the speaker. This will give you your 8ohm load. Someone correct me if I went lysdexic on this again. It's been known to happen
I like the diagrams on the Sound City site:

See that's what I'm scared of. Looks to be pretty well kept on the outside and was recently retubed with jjel34s. What would be the going rate on them used? The guy wants 2,000 for it or trades. Its on the Atlanta craigslist if you wanna check it out.

Man what a long weekend.... Missed so much stuff on here so I'll summarize.

Tele - ABSOLUTELY love my esquire; the neck, the tone, just everything is awesome. If it wasn't for my Monson being a step above, it would still be my main guitar.

CosPlay -

Matamp - Conky, great tone but as mentioned questionable reliability. Get more deetz if you can and report back. Plus what would be wanting in trade? If its the Soldano I'd say no immediately.

Hopefully picking up a PA and E-Drum kit this weekend. Time to become a one man band. :yay:

ugh a mid control. lol I always hate to see that but the going rate is a bit hard to tell without more info on that particular amp

Guts? Year? 2k is a bit much IMO You can almost get brand new Matamps for that price.

Hmmmm its got a mids knob. Nick usually says to stay away from those, but I believe that the models with the mids knob is when they started the new era of building and the quality increased. BUT I'm not positive on that.

hahaha nick beat me to it

The last GTO I saw on ebay went for $1700, and it took over a month for someone to buy that one. So yeah $2k is a bit steep.

Rather have a a Matamp GTO than a Pontiac GTO, though.

You could also score a proper OrMat/VOTW/60-70's Matamp for 2 large.

My Subie's got so much road salt on it I can't see through the windows. #hardcore #yolo #fuckacarwash

Also, Pandora's failing me. Need some spacey heavy cosmic jams that aren't the usual UFOmammut/Colour Haze/Earthless jank. Anyone got any good recs? In return I will offer you pre-NBA basketball footage from the 1940's.
