So guys, I have been thinking about putting together a telemaster and have not been able to fight off the GAS for it. I usually play a baritone tuned to A through humbuckers but as I have been recording my band's songs the baritone doesn't seem as needed. The low end is also to be more crowded as my other guitarist bought a moog minitaur that we want to incorporate more. We were in the studio last night just playing with my setup and twisting knobs and changing out pedals and such. I told them about my idea of putting together a telemaster and they liked the idea.

I am pretty sure a few of you guys have used that style of guitar so any thoughts on the concept? I was going to buy the parts from warmoth and use some stuff I have already. I have a normal tele style neck pickup and a gfs dream 90 pickup for the bridge that could also accommodate a humbucker.

Also I found these video of Pallbearer which makes me want the tele style guitar even more.

Hahaha, I do already have a tele but, I need to have it set up as the truss rod is out of wack. I just don't dig the tele bridge pickup all that much. I was debating on replacing that with something but wasn't sure what. Thats also why I was thinking of putting together the telemaster instead. Plus I was wanting to do the reverse tele head stock.

What pickups do you normally run Christian? I hope that I can make the St. Vitus show too.

I pulled out my tele and started to try and set it up for some lower tunings. I need to get a wrench for the truss rod though since my allen wrenches are not long enough to fit in the cavity and turn.

Aw shit dude I thought you'd already gone out already.

Will hopefully catch you at the Boston show. Lo-Pan/Whores would be a sweet lineup but I guess Fight Amp isn't a bad consolation prize.
