Yup. Unfortunately there are no doors. We all have to make do with hitting the pipings and knocking on the walls.

After watching the new Karate Kid movie, I realized that I tear up in EVERY FUCKING MOVIE I watch.

I don't know what it is... Even if I think the movie is total shit I still somehow manage to get all teary-eyed. I never full on cry but I'm just hoping you don't look at me until I regain my composure.

 Dude, The Brave Little Toaster gets to me every time.

Seriously, it does.

The Brave Little Toaster is an American classic.

ive never used effects loops on my amps
a. cause i never cared
b. cause most of the time they never had them
c. dont understand why some people will instantly say does it have an effects loop about an amp and if it doesnt shun it

is it really that bad? or different

That's because a lot of guitarists (and bassists, to be fair) think that only amp distortion is good and pedal distortion is crap, and they want to be able to put their effects after their amp's preamp section. I run my amp clean, so I never use it. :idk:

The most common use I've seen with amp-fx-loops is to put a noise suppressor in it, or a comp, I've put a comp in the one in my SVT a few times and all it did was make it noisy....

my Laney VC30 has an effects loop, but it's noisy as hell so i don't use it. yeah, that's JUST what i want to do, put effects between V3 and V4. you betcha.

It's different, but I think that FX loops are difficult for amp manufacturers to execute properly. I've see some really pricey amps with effects loops that bled sound (horribly), cut tone, dropped volume, didn't bypass etc. I tried the FX loop on my GK, but was thoroughly unimpressed.

I know some people who use it as a tuner out on amps without that feature.

It's personal preference, but I think they're a waste.

to the topic of effects loop... i use mine just because i was experimenting with my combo's drive

since i plan to get an Earthquaker monarch, I guess i won't need it anymore

i'd appreciate an effects loop that could be used as a jump for solos... like on some VHT/Fryettes

CONFESSION TIME:

i buy pedals (like the said Monarch) to compensate for my amp not being exactly what i'd like, because

a)It's easier then getting a new, good amp - i mean... seriously... i don't know what i want and even if i knew, there's a damn good chance i couldn't find it/afford it

b)it's cheaper - because amps are so fucking overpriced here it's mad

c)shut up, that's why

Based on this description alone, I am most likely never going to give this band a chance. Post minimalist? srsly?

I find it best to stay away from tags on last.fm. it's really funny to read the bands shoutbox and people will say things like: "OMG THIS BAND IS SO NOT TERROR CORE. YOU'RE ALL FUCKING STUPID HIPSTER FAGGOTS. THIS IS REAL HXC!!!!!11!1!!
