Ancient Astronaught wrote:That's crazy!!! The DIY EQ sounds pretty legit! I've always wanted to build an EQ specifically to get the coming through an old radio sound, love cutting to that tone during quiet guitar only breaks in songs, then coming back in full force.

That board totally looks like it belongs in a black metal rig. :doom: Which is why I think I like it so much.

Yeah, I love that sound as well.

Yeah I think the Eq will be a great tool. 1776 has been putting out some great stuff lately and this Eq is one of them!

I think I'll be using it to get some more mids presence out of the Obstructures, either pre or post board!

hahaha it's all good my friend. I would have kept that phat cat if I could have gotten it not to hum, it hummed even completely clean in our jam room so it had to go, I'm loving my GFS WRHB clone though, its mellow yet has a nice kerrang to it.

Aye tis troo!!!

That's awesome! I'm glad the WRHB worked out!

I found that with the pot that I am using on the Phat Cat now (I THINK it's 250k, if not than is 500k) that if you roll back the volume to about 8/10 the hum goes away at least with this Jaguar. Of course it depends on the amp, and the pedals, and everything. But running it into a delay and a verb and into the Traynor I surprisingly got it to be silent!

That's awesome!!! I still have that 250k w/ treble bleed mod if ya want it. I Put 500k's and an orange drop cap in when I installed the WRHB. Next time you stop by feel free to take it with you! (as long as you remember my witchhat tone knob :thumb: )

I did a thing.

This is the chain...
Yellow = regular linear chain, red = in a feedback loop (through the silver pedal.)
