on a serious note. this new amp has 1 16 ohm, 2 8 ohm, 2 4 ohm taps. I'm thinking two 8 ohm cabs go to the 4 ohm taps right? Dude that sold it to me did not agree. I've been known to be stupid, especially when it comes to simple shit like this sooooo, want to make sure I'm right.

You need to find out if the taps are in series or parallel with each other. But usually you'd be right with two 8 Ohm cabs on the 4 Ohm tap.

Pretty sure if you're connecting the amp to two cabs, you'd use one 4 ohm tap if they're daisy chained and both 8 ohm taps if you're connecting them individually to each cab.

Are you sure about that? Looking at the pics im fairly certain its 2x16 2x8 1x4, thats the only thing that mathematically makes sense, its just the way he oriented the actual jacks that throws you off. Usually transformers can do 16-8-4 ohms so you can do 1x16, 2x16 for 8ohm, 1x8, 2x8 for 4ohms, or 1x4.

I'm betting from left to right its 16, 16, 8, 8, 4.

I would contact Ben though, thats the only way to know for sure.

I would think the opposite since no one would plug in two cabs to make a 16 ohm load. So I see it as one 16 ohm, then two 8 ohm so you can plug in two 16 ohm cabs, and two 4 ohms so you can plug I two 8 ohm cabs. Make sense? But, best contact Ben about that.

Chiller - I think it's for Cabs. Two 16 ohm cabs (making one 8 ohm load), Two 8 ohm cabs (4 ohms) and one 4 ohm (... still 4 ohms).

I don't believe that Verellens go down to 2 ohms.

I like that agile. I just wish they had more colors. I have a chinese knock off 7 string semi hollow body but it is only 25" not baritone scale. I do have a baritone 7 string les paul from agile though.

I've never seen an amp labeled that way, and we're basically saying the same thing just a different view on the label. The top row jacks are secondary jacks for the number left of it to equate to the one to the right of it.
