Was that really you? I'm thinking that's not you, but I don't know you well enough to know for sure.

Pure garbage. You can even see a guy in the crowd look like he's laughing.

What I don't get about sporting events is that they can't seem to find talented people for the National Anthem. There's plenty of talented musicians in many genres that I'm sure would jump at the opportunity to perform in front of a big crowd.

Yet they keep giving us garbage.

It's because nationalism is garbage.

Flame me, see who gives a fuck. Welcome to the 21st century, countries are so post colonial and Eurocentric. Your country is dead. So is mine.

Anyways, I see Ernie ball are gonna start music man amps up again. I thought I saw a thread about this a week or so ago on ILF? But I can't find it now, my iPad is not digging the search function.
Anyone know what the price point for these might be? Do we think EB will be cashing in on some previously awesome heritage for the sake of name dropping some Chinese made, run-of-the-mill meh at a legendary price point (read, "Orange")?
Thoughts opinions and hostility welcome.
COME AT ME, BROS!

Sorry, I'm all psyched up from trying to get into the study everything you can get your hands on mode I'm running here. I'd actually like a conversation....

The more songs we write the more we use clean passages. I am getting tired of flipping between the bridge for dirt and neck for cleans. It is hard keeping up with that, stepping on pedals and screaming like a dummy into a mic all at once. If I stay on the neck I get nice cleans but how do I retain clarity on weird chordings with lots of dirt? More treble less bass on the amp? Pickup adjustment? Less gain?

Edit:

I've never used anything other than the bridge pickup for dirt tones before. Trying to make the pickups I have work. I've got a surgery coming up and can't afford to drop anymore cash on gear for a good while.

I agree 100%, my country is just a big floating pile of living garbage.

I'll take T-Pain's rendition of the anthem anyway:

you should watch the whole episode if you can to get the whole picture but the singing starts at around 45 seconds.

UGH

After solving the ground loop problems with my Orville, and making sure that the AOR is in full working order, it turns out that the massive hum coming from the Sunn is COMING FROM THE SUNN

Used Music Man amps are still fairly cheap although the 130HD is hard to find these days, mostly because it says 130 on it probably. I would expect the re-issues to be fairly cheap since there aren't many tubes in there.

I have a MM 212/Sixty-Five made between '77 and '80 and it sounds great but I would like it to be cleaner. The preamps are solid state and have some kind of clipping built into them that sounds really great and fuzzy when it's cranked but it's hard to give the amp more headroom since there are no valves to swap.

That Traynor re-issue YBA-1 or whatever is probably the one to look out for.

You're right. I was being a tad optimistic there.
You are generous indeed, sir. Right now I have a shit-ton of reading to do for uni....but I'm tempted to take you up on that just in case I get a spare minute to read anything in my break...in like 14 weeks time.

Yours and mine, buddy.
I really don't wanna watch anything involving T-Pain...but I might muster up the courage to suss that later. It's gonna take me a while to calm my rage centers. I hate that mother fucker.

Cheers man. They aren't a common amp down here, so aside from what I've seen on the internet, I have no idea. Not sure if we'll be getting the new ones when they drop either, but they kinda interest me.
Traynor, hey....

I've heard the Traynor ressiue has had its headroom dramatically reduced.
