Rhys just emailed me back an hour ago! Apparently he's making a couple Mind Warps with dual LFOs and I'm gonna get one! Excited!

I got the same mail. Looks like I'll have two Mind Warps.

Sure, I'm not going to keep both.
Currently uploading a 25 minute demo of my Seppuku's, with lots of awkward talking and some doubtful guitar noodling.

What do you use to record stuff with and how? I've been wanting to make demo videos for a while, but I really have no idea how to position everything and make something that isn't a basket of turds. Maybe I should be asking UG instead.

UG uses an iPad, I think. I use a Canon 70D and edit in Windows Movie Maker, lol. I've got a Shure SM58 and all that jazz, but I'm too lazy to figure out how to make it work.
I make demos for fun, and to give people a sense of what pedals sound like. The mic on the camera gets the job done IMO. It's not like we're tAOn questerz. We dig noise and lo-fi.

Yea any of the videos I've made so far are from my iPhone. But since I primarily record all of my sounds using a bass, an iPhone isn't the best. It's also stupid hard to get the camera set up. I might try UG's method of placing the pedals vertically and see if that makes it easier.

As far as setting up the camera I usually shoot my demos in the window sill next to my amp. When I'm doing a pedalboard demo like today, I tie the camera to a chair using the strap and MacGyver some boxes under the feet of the chair in order to tilt it. It looks terrible.

Hahaha! Thanks, buddy! If I had the know-how/patience/skills I'd be making KNOBS-like demos all the time.
But I also enjoy the sort of demos I make myself. Guy with mediocre guitar skills tweaking knobs without really knowing the science behind it.

What do you use to record your videos with? (I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times). I would love to somehow get my phone stable enough to record looking down.

I use a contraption made specifically for the demos, lovingly called "the guillotine."
I always want to share pictures of it, but I like the demos to exist in an undisclosed, ego-free space.
You could probably use a reinforced selfie-stick for that shit

I just duct tape my phone to a guitar stand.
