hmmm - how's availability going to be?

not that i'm in that market, and i suspect it's going to be a sparse one (i need to go back and re-read what you wrote earlier)
but i can't imagine they'll be able to pump these out in great numbers quickly - seems like something that would take lots of resources to produce even after the r&d and shakedown are handled....
One dealer quoted me 50 units in the US' first batch. Batch two could be right after that, or it could be a month + change.

Beginning Thursday, the makers of the Dust Collector will be accepting pre-orders for their Modmix & Dirt Magnet.

Modmix (€1300) is an experimental mixing console with feedback/CV/LFO/MIDI options.

Dirt Magnet (€1200) is a multi-effect unit with cassette delay and various routing options. (VCF, Ring Modulator, Noise, LFOs)

I don't know. I grabbed a pair of the tape delays when they were first announced with a 20% code. I listed one of them for a modest discount below retail and it sat there for months.
All I got was the usual Reverb turds offering me $450-$500 for a new, boxed unit. If people weren't willing to pay $900 for a tape delay, I don't see a full-on gladiator fight for a $2100 wire delay. It's not a limited edition, so there's time to get one. Also, the people buying $1000-$2000 machines tend to bemore serious hobbyists & studio pros. People buying $300-$500 effects pedals far out-number them. I think the T-Rex Echorec can sustain a run, but it will be supported by the same people who have sustained the Moog One. Production may be slow, but a trickle is better than a drought.

Diamond is officially back, with their Web store reopening for new orders. (prices range from $209 to $249 USD)

https://www.diamondpedals.com/en-ca/col ... /frontpage
After two (long) years of research, development, and manufacturing, Greg and the new team based in Montreal are launching the 5 new flagship pedals building on the original designs, Memory Lane, Comp/EQ, Tremolo, Drive, and Bass Comp/EQ. Development continues and the legacy lives on.
Greg Djerrahian of SolidGoldFX has been overseeing this relaunch, since PolyBlend Systems Inc. (Diamond) was forced to close in 2021 due to the pandemic. A new vibrato is in the works. I'm not sure if the phaser & chorus will get full releases or possibly limited runs. Their IG page has a few nuggets, regarding future projections.

Been watching that calendar for the new Diamond - solid re-launch, always thought about giving the tremolo a whirl, and I bet that Memory Lane is nice, but deep down i was hopin' they'd throw the trem and vibrato in one box with the option to either sync or free-run the lfos...that wouldasold like hot cakes in a hot pockets world, amirite (woulda made for a nice pair with the Halo Chorus back in the day tho)....

Back to dreamin' about what the revenant WMD will cook up :snax:

It's disappointing that they seem to be done with pedals, but it's a treat for those in the Euro space. ---And it's nice that the WMD gets to keep doing what they enjoy, even if it is as two companies.
