so the old version will be remaindered soon? nice!
It looks really functional, also I like the horizontal layout and the big gap they left between the two switches, which is my main problem with small loopers (goofy feets..)
I would have preferred a different function instead of octave, but it seems really appealing and performance-oriented nonetheless.
Yeah octave is kind of a weird choice. 1/2 speed seems like it would have made a lot more sense.
octaver would let you track bass and guitar parts w/o a separate octave pedal tho, no?

Fair point. Didn't think of trying to play a whole song/multiple parts with it. Just thought about loop/sample mangling possibilities because I tend to make weird noises more often than whole songs

I want a looper with at least 5 phase stomps on it. I hate tiny loop pedals. I can't build on that shit. The Boss RC-50 is okish. GOD! Someone make a good looper!

Anyway, I think I'm going to stick to dirt pedals this year. We all know I'll buy stuff, soo, I'm going to just do that.

Im sure some people loop that way but octave on loopers is a half-speed function so you have to play your "bass" part at double speed before hitting the octave function and it will be heard that way at least once. It gets really messy with timing and layering. Easier to use an octave pedal and play your bass parts in real time with proper feel.

probably. i'm just looking at it from the standpoint of a more convenient/less noisy signal path.

Agreed.
I'd rather have preferred to have half speed or reverse function.
Also i just read the manual and I'm somehow less interested. I hoped it could work as a double looper, with two totally independent loops (unlinked lenght and both playable at any time), but apparently you can only play either one of the two loops or one in sequence of the other and not both at the same time.

Im consistently bummed out that looper offerings get simpler and simpler with 100% emphasis on "play some chords and then solo over them, more than 2 switches and knobs confuses me!" rather than interesting musical creation. I use an EDP pro because its the only thing that offers worthwhile creative options controllable on the floor in real time. I initially thought Blooper would be cool but once it was done I realized it was foolish to believe it was meant to be used like a pedal. Its like 856 for Zellersasn and pretty much has to be used on a table top with both hands to get your $500 worth.

Fuck.
Here it is. ROOMS is a stereo, multi function digital reverb capable of searing volume, gated walls of sound, and long, trailing reverberant ambiances with insane levels of control.

ROOMS is the newest addition to the permanent DBA lineup! Coming Spring 2020, preorder info will be available in the next week!!!

Just the fact that i finally read a description of a new reverb without the words "lush"and "textures" is worth my respect.
The alternate function with secondry settings for freq, depth and time (i guess) is a nice addition.
Also, GONG mode?

Well given the fact that the Chase Bliss/Benson preamp will be in the 750$ range, i think this one is gonna be similar.
Again, definitely unobtanium for me, as the 90% of CB pedals/collabs.

yeah, i/we've been through this discussion mutliple times, the looper realm is always a bummer, no matter what.
Only looper i could be interested right now is the forthcoming ehx 1440 as long as secondary functions, but the limited total amount of recording time/slots is a bummer if you plan to use it with extended samples/backing tracks. I mean, the BOSS RC-30 has 3hours and 99 slots, and it came out YEARS ago. I've been trying to replace it for a while now, but still haven't found a decent substitute.

New Bilt design, it's just another Telecaster take but they did a good job making the body curves relate to the swoopy headstock

New Empress compressor. Looks pretty cool actually, their earlier version was quite good and the size of this one is quite appealing.
