Re: State of the Flanger: 2020
So the Oblivion played nicely with the Fuck and a Part Garden. Was very tweakable and was able to cut out a lot of hiss as well.
I do think the pedal is DSP, but it sounds very natural. I think the sweep range is pretty big and versatile. More than my BF-2. I am really digging this little guy.

Broke out the Cluster Flux last night, damn that thing sounds good, only break it out every now and then since it's such a space/power hog. Regret not buying the MF Flange (and Chorus) just so I could fit them into rigs easier.

MF Flange is nice
, and I had just gotten interested in the MF Chorus when the oop price spike occurred, but I still don't think together they add up to a Cluster Flux
Is the mac daddy fooger particularly noisy?

MF chorus rules, does pretty cool chorusy and flangy and vahbrata sounds but i like to use it for 80s tin-can delay effects; like snakefinger!

They definitely don't add up in terms of getting some of the deepest and craziest sounds in the CF, but just having that general sound quality in small box form would be very.practical at the moment.Dandolin wrote:MF Flange is nice, and I had just gotten in terested in the MF Chorus when the oop price spike ocurred, but I still don't think tgether they add up to a Cluster Flux

It's shockingly quiet. Noise only starts to creep in a really extreme settings.

Yeah, I feel that way about all the ones I'm missing, pretty much no hope of acquiring them now unless fate takes a liking to me.... though it is Moog, so who knows when they'll just randomly decide to bring them back.

the Chorus is the only MF I don't have! Maybe if they drop below $200 again someday I'll pick one up.

yeah, it's at the point of simple stupidity. The sellers, whatever. But anyone who pays those prices is a dumbass.

Damn, when did they shoot up like that? Hoped to add the drive to the board eventually but I'd planned to keep both my kidneys in the process.

Well... shit.
I remember thinking, oh they're being discontinued, guess people weren't digging them, I'll probably grab one cheap used later...
