By the looks of it, you're going to the moon...?

Awesome setup.

@craig looks like you have an adapter multi on the bottom left of the bug brand to interface euro and 1/4. am I right? do you think the bug brand stuff is mostly lunetta's in a box? or is it actually useful to play it like keys?

Yep, it's a banana-1/8"-1/4" multi/converter

The Wiard joystick controller on the right also has the same. Handy little things.

I love the bugs stuff. Next to the Wiard it's the most interesting and enjoyable synth I've ever worked with - and I've literally owned and sold over 200 different modules of different formats.

Other than the Bugcrusher and upcoming sequencer the bug modules are all analog so unlike Lunetta stuff in that respect but I don't think that's what you meant.

The oscillators (and filters to a slightly less extent) track v/Oct over a few (retunable) octaves so you can easily setup and play fixed-architecture synth stuff with a keyboard if you want..... But IMHO that's a silly thing to use a modular for and you'd be better off with a fixed-architecture synth.

It really excels at taking you places you didn't expect, and also setting up aleatoric sort of self-playing, self modulating stuff. That's what I really like to do.

I love this picture taken during a gig with 'Atlantis'.

My live rig for Atlantis is a cs1x, alesis micron and nord micromodular and a small mixer into the foh.

Okay.

I can't afford a goatkeeper right now.

Showing me two at the same time isn't cool. :mope:

Why is one so much bigger than the other?

Cool, what are the main differences?

The smaller one has "multiply by 5" instead of "random". The bigger one has a little longer waveform record time and various small circuit improvements.
