DD-02 really surprised me...totally worth way more that the small amount I paid. The delay is surprisingly great sounding...but the external footswitch hold function is awesome. Get one of those cheap nektar reversible momentary switch and go between hold and slapback (and vice versa). Really nice. It's like boss DD meets Aria add.

There may or may not have been a DD-02 for $72 shipped
earlier today....
Link on that switch?

Nektar np-1

(Just first link I found) it's not a great one I guess. I haven't had any problems...but it has that polarity switch (I got it for my maxon vintage jet flange and I didn't really know how I wanted the vca to kick in)

Any signal paths/work glows/gestalts/big ideas anyone wants to share for multiple glitch/freeze/stutter/loop toys?
I try things and adjust the setup I have but my big FOMO isn’t about the gear, it’s about the deployment.

Stamme(n), Molecular Disruptor, Molecular Compactor, Fabrikat, Bakvendt, Digtech Digital Delay (secret weapon really and cheap), DD-6 modded for analog and Zoom MS-50G are main main tools. YMMV.

I like more stuttery stuff at the beginning and more smeary stuff later on. Running different things in parallel is super fun.

Parallel is key IMO. I run a stereo rig for just that reason.

Okay, I get that. Having separate freezes/holds/loops makes sense to me (I get that in the sense of grabbing different things in different ways and letting them work together) and is easier to grok than figuring how to stack these things.
But many of you are doing straight mono chains.
(I had generally given up on having a stereo pedal path for other reasons, leaving stereo for rack effects. But parallel mono chains mixed together could totally work for me. Hmm.)

I sometimes use one glitch pedal to catch a longer slightly glitchy loop (maybe with a Ct5), then use another to more destructively glitch the loop.
It can also be really useful to have one glitch pedal before your drives (for smoother glitching that blends better with your playing) and another after your delays+reverbs (for really jarring "mastering effects" glitching).

I always have my drive before glitch or else you get big, annoying volume jumps (unless that's what you're going for). Couldn't hurt to have one before and after though.
