Right? Needs more useless knobs, soft switches and oscillation.

What’s with the bit about the new EQD needing power, even when bypassed? Like the description said it as if it’s a good thing, so what’s the good part? Not knocking it, I’ve just never heard of such a thing

I kind of love this, but would put a proper ash tray on it.

New 4MS module - hot. I can sort of imagine what a wave "sphere" is but I NEED TO HEAR IT NAO.

New Fender guitar - also hot. Would love to play one. Hope it isn't too limited. Looks like it might be a short scale?

New EQD overdrive - not for me.

Geez... I was just fucking around with you complainers.

Couple answers:
The new pedals need power to switch because they use relays instead of mechanical switches.

Westwood is named after the street I lived on when EQD started.

I will complain that there better be some nice custom color V2 Rainbow Machines comin' out later this year. Because I totally want one. :snax:

I think my hatred of butterscotch as a color began with the disgusting candy, and I loathe maple necks with black blocks. So it's a double (-) for me.

If it was lavender with a black headstock, rosewood neck with pearl blocks, and chrome P90s I would like it much more. Basically if it looked more like a Deimel. :idk:

I wish the Meteora was weirder, somehow? It's just too polite, really.

In all fairness tho

Don't forget about the Ryan Adams Strat (commin' sood):

People keep mentioning the 4ms wavetable synth, but I don't think anyone ever shared any pics or specs. :idk:

6-channels coming to NAMM--

Haha, not such an obvious reference is it now, echorec?

You, apparently, haven't seen this photo of Jamie with Vivienne Westwood:

Best .gif reaction in this thread so far, I lol'd.

And @earthdevice, I just prefer it when you guys do something a little more 'out there' like the Pitch Bay, Insterstellar Orbiter, Data Corrupter. Westwood demo just had me thinking that I could do it myself if I wanted to. And I don't mean (mass)produce it and sell it, I mean DIY it and slap it on the board.

I think it's great they do both. Something for everyone. :thumb:

The Pedals and effects demo made it make a lot of sense, it's a great follow up to the insanity of the Data Corrupter. Not everything is about us.

Still not my thing. :idk:

I totally get this sentiment but I feel like the overdrive market is already oversaturated as it is (pun intended), and, like I said, in my situation it makes virtually no sense to pay upwards of €100 or even €200 on a dirtbox unless it does something I can't DIY (yet). Not cost effective, waste of capital, you know, much like EQD I know how to think business but from my own point of view ;)

That said there was nothing wrong with the sounds in the demo at all. As a sound engineer I would enjoy working with a guitarist who has one on his board in the future.
