Ive been talking to myself for weeks in the zellersasn thread. I LOVE that box so much. I use it constantly and kinda have my head around how it works at this point if you wanna talk about it.

Unfortunately I'm not going to have time to delve into 856 until this weekend.

most of the dip switched just change how the expression inputs are setup. they can all be expression/CV or some sort of square wave pulse that does something. but you have to determine that with the dip switches. the ones that aren't for that are easy to understand if you play the pedal i would say. you can make the freeze buffer longer or make it act differently. you can change the scale the oscillator is tuned to. you can change some of the internal signal routing of the pll (easier to explain with the diagram in the manual) or you can alter the range of certain parameters. the way it ships i would say is the most practical, but if you get bored you can try some other flavors.
