I'm pretty hyped for demos of the new effects!
Congratulations to everyone and many thanks for the push to get to 350! We made it, which means there will be a grand total of four DSP effects built into Channel now and forever after as well as the desirable fourth knob for extra control.
The natural state of Channel will be reverb so you'll select out of reverb to any of the other three - notated tight delay, glitch and one which is yet to be decided (back to the conundrum).
Our new prototype Channel has already gone through a redesign, has been manufactured and arrives tomorrow. It will be packed with components in the next few days and we'll know exactly what the final Channel is all about. It probably won't be finished before the campaign is over, but we'll be posting updates over the next couple months so you can see how things are progressing.
In the redesign, we also added a couple new features to Channel. So while those features haven't been prominent or truly announced, they do make for some added nice time. I won't go into detail at the moment
Again, thanks to everyone!
cheers

Nothing concrete yet, the email just said that for all their backers they are going to host a party at their location in Portland, and stream it online for people that can't make it.jwar wrote:Deets???worra wrote:So who wants to make a trip to Portland for the event?
I haven't been getting emails from them...weird.worra wrote:Nothing concrete yet, the email just said that for all their backers they are going to host a party at their location in Portland, and stream it online for people that can't make it.jwar wrote:Deets???worra wrote:So who wants to make a trip to Portland for the event?

I wish I lived close enough to attend. I'll definitely tune into any live streaming thoughWell hot damn, we reached our latest stretch goal. And that's not one that everyone can realistically partake in given that we're in Portland, Oregon but...I think what we'll do, since we went beyond it, is make our party and music performance live on the internets and then later, downloadable.
We'll go through folktek headquarters and give everyone a video tour, go into the A.Blaze painting studio and check out the mess, then into the music studio where everything is good, have a couple drinks, setup up for live music and though it may not be much of a perk, Arius Blaze himself may play a live, amplified, experimental music show.
We'll get a couple more folks for musicing and maybe some other exceptional live performance with puppets or something - we'll see what we can get together.
So if you can be there in the physical, we'd love to have you. If not, you can chime in on the world wide web. We'll make the audio recordings good, truncate after the party and provide the live musics as a free download for all supporters.
So that's like a free album or two and if you're up for it, you can get virtually drunk with everybody.
Thanks again to everyone and hope you enjoy the show!
