Jwar and a handful of other people have some demos on IG as well. I think he only has one left from the first batch, but I know he's got batch number 2 already in the works. I wanted to grab one over the weekend while his sale was still running, but was short on the extra fundage.

Ohhh! Yes!
The Foxx and the Octavia are stupendous Faux-Muffs when you bypass their octave up circuits.
All that low end, kick in the gut wallop... with a sizzly, rasp on the highs as the octave up signal bleeds in slightly!

Muff-adjacency was a whole 'nother can'o'worms. Also love the Foxx for that, but I think my favorite in that department is the Acetone Fuzz Master :snax:

Do love a Fuzz Master, indeed. And a Standard Fuzz. I can never get that triple thick grind out of those like I can with a Tone Machine though.

STANDING BY!

Back to the original post – Sylnau, have you tried a Dwarfcraft or Devi Silver Rose? Those things rip, and give you a bit more flexibility on the Muff / ECT side plus the additional Super Fuzz side.

No, but I'm verry happy with my Champion Leccy Bloody Gett. :joy:

It rips. I loved mine.

Last amazing big muff tone I heard was a bog standard NYC though. :thumb:
Good, I was able to find one new on reverb.com last week: it's on the way to my place now!!! :)
Looking forward to try it out, I also have a Throat Locust from Earthbound Audio, and I love it!
I've got the Supercollider, in a wonderful olive green and black: Earthbound did it again!
After the Throat Locust, EA amazed me once again. The EQ section is really powerful (I had few BM in the past, but I never remembered you could really palm muting with these!), and push the mass and tone full ccw it's a subbass earthquake!! I love it!!!

Not sure how this thread got twelve pages in without anyone mentioning a Dobsky... :idk:
Shame on you people.

Although personally I'm pretty satisfied with my black Russian muff. A lot smoother and more pleasing to the ear than others I've tried, and it sounds as dark as its enclosure. Plus I think it's the easiest of the muff variants to mod if you're into that sorta thing.

This is the most accurate muff statement I've ever read.

I can’t find any demos of it, except for these brief clips on Instagram,
https://www.instagram.com/p/BtuDWEMHkKo ... szwhpbgdil
*dont know how to host the actual videos in here...* :idk:
But according to the ToneCzar Instagram, Excane got one, so I can’t wait to see what he does to it.
Here you go my friend...

It's the muff to end all (most) muffs. It fixes all the issues that people have with muffs and takes it another 10 levels.
The EQ is ridiculously powerful and uses some of the rarest germanium NPN transistors (they spec out over 200 hfe)

I can't recommend it highly enough. I'll have the bass demo coming in a day or two.

**EDIT. Toneczar still has one left in stock that he built with NO wait list which he's never done before. Unless someone bought it today, it could be yours. I might actually buy a second one.
