Lists are the best,
I make a task list just about every morning, and have finally talked my wife into making me lists at home if she wants something done.

If you don't write something down it doesn't exist.

I live my professional life through tools like Todoist and utilizing a pocket notebook where I write the 6 most important things to do for tomorrow in order of importance, and then work through that during the course of the day.

My wife and I have pretty busy schedules, and we've synced a google calendar to our phones. If an evening/weekend event isn't on the calendar, it doesn't exist.

Apropos lists - Phanta got me onto an app called Clear. I love it. Really simple and satisfying interface for creating and completing lists.

I really need a new at-home amp. Thinking of going for one of those Phil Jones micro bass amps, since this would just be for personal futzing-around purposes. And then there's the endless pedal list, which goes on and on and on. And I've been lusting after a baritone tenor guitar for ages now.

Pay for a license of Noatikl this month. I think that's it in the short term.

You can download it as a 30 day trial to see if it works for you (it comes as a standalone and it works with most DAWs). I love it.

Gonna take the dive into Eventide H9 land too. I can use it for fucking everything, guitar or studio, so I reckon it'd be a good investment.

That's a lotta money tied up in 3 bits of gear, but it'll be worth it.

One thing I forgot to mention was an Ableton Push 2. But I guess thats fine because fuck it, I bought one Yesterday....
2016 is still alive and deadly:

I've already met my primary goal by buying my first acoustic--a Guild D240e that should arrive on Saturday. Other than that, I would like something like the Electribe Sampler--something that can be both a sampler and a drum machine.

I think I'm set on effects as I already have a crap-ton that I rarely use.

I'd like to b/s/t less and play more. Gotta get me less job and more times to noodle.

I missed the Generation Loss presale so I hope I can snag one of those in the new year. Other than that maybe save up for an OP1. They look so fun!

You could also drop them earplugs and the picture of a penis entering a human ear in their mailbox. Put things in perspective for these under appreciative weaklings. Also won't get you in jail.
