I dunno, if you're religious, and also fancy yourself an iconoclast, there's definitely that tradition present within the religious stories. Eve biting the apple, Moses melting the Golden Calf, Jesus overturning the tables in the temples, numerous examples of smashing idols including Abraham and Muhammad. We've had this debate before, you and I, but I think a lot of people choose to experience religion as an iconoclastic thing. In Judaism, that's the idea, you're arguing with God, all the time. Gnosticism, too.

Anyway in this video he allegedly talks about his Catholic faith (can't watch it all right now, is 8+ minutes). I would agree with you that he's probably not a very traditional Catholic. He could be a very idiosyncratic "believer" in the mould of someone like John Fahey (or the Founding Fathers, as far as that goes; almost all deists, even agnostics).

Not even if you start it at like 2:50 and just imagine 75 more effects on the guitars?

too broad a definition possibly.....
but BLS has not been at it for 25 years,
and Darkthrone... had a Motörhead moment? (not familiar, sorry...)

the band in question was pentatonicking in more than one genre during those 25 years
but all of them badass rocking obvs.

^I'll have to listen to that later, but from the one Darkthrone track I heard so far
I suspect your definition of Motörhead moment is as broad as my description

did they also recycle their Motörhead moment, though?
