The first tuner on your board counts as one pedal.
After that, approximately only every third tuner counts (The 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th tuners).
To find the number of pedals to add to your total, use this formula:
h = (n/3) + 1, where n is the number of tuners that are on your board, and h is the number that amount of tuners contributes toward your pedal count.
Round h to the nearest whole number.

So for instance, say my board has 67 tuners on it (a bit below average, but it'll do for example purposes).
Here's how the calculations would go:
h = (67/3) + 1
h = (22 1/3) + 1 = 23 1/3 ≈ 23 pedals go toward your total.

For your reference:
-the largest number of tuners a board in each category can have
small: 12 (with no other pedals)
medium: 24 (with no other pedals)
large: infinity (with infinitely many other pedals)

You know what, now that I think about it, infinity is kind of a lot.
Let's make the cutoff for the number of pedals you can have on your board, while still being in the "large" category, seven hundred thousand (700,000).
If you have more pedals than that and still want to compete, PM me, we'll work something out.

So far we have 13 large™ entrants, 12 medium™ entrants, and 11 small™ entrants.
Looks like I probably won't have to tweak the categories too much, hopefully.
I still might wiggle some stuff around though.
Pretty good turnout, too!

I sold stuff right before I send my BILF entry. I don't think it matters too much. Ain't about how much you have as much as how you use it.
