Yeah, I've been wearing them for years. I've bought other sneakers along the way as well, but I always seem to have a pair of Jazz.

I have an old pair of the Adidas ZX 750 that I really liked. Thinking about looking for another pair of those.

can anyone help me find light grey/charcoal-ish sneakers with a black sole? I used to have Etnies in that color scheme, they were my favorite shoes and I still think of them with a smile on my face. But back then I skated and thus there were soon destroyed.

Not only can I not find out which exact model they were, but I have never again seen nice sneakers in that color scheme.

So.. mini review:

Comphyness: is comphy
Sized correctly to size stated: on the big side
look: badass industrially look that fits how I dress

The differences with chucks: has actual insole, twice as many lace holes [wtf], thicker canvas, logo is not painted on but a rubber thingy, has racing stripe, extra bumper around sole seems like it would make kicking things and people easier

I can't understand how people still wear Chuck Taylors. Maybe it's because I'm old, but there's no support at all. Fine for kids, not really for adults.

Anyways, I know they do half-cabs, 106, sk8 his, and authentics in teh colors you want. Poke around the bay/discount stores and I'm sure you can find them on the cheap.
If not, vans has that custom order thing now...
