Almost every time I turn the KKF off I turn it back on within 10 seconds. It makes fuzz/distortion sound too damn good.

Are there any more videos or sound samples of this around? All that's on Youtube is some shit video making noise along with an Echo Dream. ALso have listened to the samples on the DBA site a load. Have one of these on the way and just trying to get a better idea of what to expect.

Woah, those are amazing samples dude!!! Plus that's exactly what I wanted to hear: Fuzz War > FFK. Got a Fuzz War the other week and have a KKF on the way. Also looks like I'll be grabbing an Interstellar Overdriver off the same guy that sold me the FW.

Thanks man.. the pair of them have not been unjoined from each other since the day I recorded that. I just love the sound of it.

Yeah they seem to be well suited together. Also it makes it quite apparent just how big a part the Sound Saw part of the Armageddon plays in the APTBS sound :)

So, this plus the Fuzz War= Armageddon? Is this what I'm looking for for the APTBS live sound?

The Armageddon's mode knob looks similar to the Apocalypse:

perhaps Kill Kill + Apocalypse = Armageddon

That looks quite possible to me! What way do they flow though?

Fuzz > Filter or Filter > Fuzz? Looks like the latter to me from the picture above. Got my KKF the other day. Definitely adds a lovely grind to the Fuzz War. Had it set up with the Fuzz War before it and a Devi Ever DFTN after it. Bassy setting on the KKF into the DFTN is some seriously heavy shit!!!

From what I've experienced with the KKF, running fuzz into it get more drastic results than running it into fuzz, though it does sound keerazy when I run it fuzz>KKF>fuck. Fuzz>KKF is what it sounded like they were doing when I saw them live a while back. But it could have been the wah pedal on there, so :idk: aren't there some folks who make clones of the armeggedon?

The problem with the KKF and why it won't take you exactly where the Armaggedon goes, is that both filters are identical and none of them is the notch filter found in the Sound Saw and the Armaggedon. What Oliver does live is switching from one filter (classical muff style) to the notch filter set extra trebly for ear dammage assault.
