That's odd; a lot of TGP folk have been receiving their Timelines in a week or less (recent trend from about a week or two ago).
Europe!

UPS page says: "On Vehicle for Delivery Today"

i'm also in the "don't get Strymon" group. i see why people dig the gear...the individual devices are versatile and typically have tons of options. but there's something about the delay and reverb modeling that doesn't feel right to me, something psychoacoustic i can't quantify. it's my weird fussy brain, the same way i dislike almost all envelope filters and ring modulators because they sound boxy, shrill, and one-dimensional to me.

I like the way you perceive sound.
Do you find this one-dimensional?

edit: beginning to think you're right.
but where can I get an analog delay with tap tempo?

soft touch mod?
yeah I kindof want to get the expression factory off my board and replace it with something a little more useable

Yeah, just replacing the clicky footswitch with a more fluid momentary! It's not hard to do the mod and is a little less distracting.

Man, I should have waited a few days before buying that Roland V-Bass because I found a Peavey Midi Base with the software upgraded to CyberBass. The Midi Base is essentially the same bass as the Industrial Radio Midi Bass is electronically(the same guy designed the Peavey Midi basses, Wal Midi Basses, as well as the newer Industrial Radio ones). The frets have sensors for notes, and the pickup and bridge send the other midi messages like velocity, etc. So the Bass is actually a Midi controller as opposed to sending a signal to pitch-to-midi converter, thus a lot less latency. I found the Midi Base, 2 control modules (these are what is really hard to find, and I will have a spare), a rack synth module, and a custom 25 foot long cable, plus other odds and ends. I will be able to play rack synths, regular synths, softsynths and VSTs with the Midi Base!

So did you get the Midi Bass? Are you selling the Roland V-Bass?

I am hammering out the details of purchasing, and the ROland will have to go. The dude that has the Midi Base isn't in a rush so I SHOULD be able to have it in a month or so.

At least you're selling the Roland to pick up the new one. I definitely stick to the 1 in 1 out policy a little more strictly:(
