Wow.
If you don't mind me asking, what are the two extra footswitches for?

Left footswitch is for tone bypass, and when you bypass the tone stack there is a pretty awesome volume boost, so it could really be used almost like a lead channel for the muff. The right footswitch is for oscillation!
It's got a 3 way toggle for mids, pregain, oscillation control knob, then standard volume sustain tone!
Thanks for the love, guys. Going to record demos hopefully by Thursday

Re: DIRGE ELECTRONICS: Progress/Protos/Puppies
So I got solder in my eye last night after a wire shot loose out of a PCB I was working on. That was fun. Luckily my eye is fine. Little tiny solder beads kept rubbing out of my eye.
Anyways, turns out the Tone Bypass wasn't really bypassing, simply changing the position of the knob on the muff, so now I've got to lift leads on the tone stack's cap and resistor and wire it all to a 3DPT instead of a 2DPT so the LED works. Never used a 3DPT like this before so that'll be something new.
My Baritone neck comes for my Jazzmaster today, so I'm going to throw that on and test out the Muff with that before I open it up tomorrow and sort out the tone bypass.
Helters parts are ordered- a Gloom Drive with internal trimmers for pregain and circuit gain and external volume, momentary 3DPT for blasts of fuzz.
Going to try to tap the wiring on Wes' blend circuits tomorrow and see if the way I daisy chained them is effecting why they won't actually blend. My suspicion is yes, my luck is probably not.
Going to order a new big roll of solder from Mammoth, got a small roll to hold me over through the week until I needed to order parts again, so I'm going to order some heat shrink, solder, and parts enough for 2 new blend controls just incase I need them.
Rot Gut's WSG is sitting gutted at the moment, but I'm hoping Sunday I can tear out all the wiring of the pots in a few hours. Going to go ahead and even though its working desolder the chips since they aren't socketed, get some new fresh chips in there, and socket the hell out of them just because I'd rather be safe than sorry.
In other news I'll be monstering another 6 screw black Big Muff, this time probably to Civil War specs just cause they seem to be my favorite, and more than likely selling it to raise money for a charity bike ride for Cystic Fibrosis that I am participating in with my wife and mother in October. It'll feature a SHO instead of oscillation, mids switch, pregain, new caps, and not sure about tone bypass. I might just add a 4DPT switch so that two different tones can be dialed in and switched back and forth instead. That just means more of a light show as it will have 4 LEDs instead of 3. Who doesn't like a shit ton of flashing lights on a gnarly Muff? I'm thinking I'll be selling it for $200 after all is said and done, parts are ordered and it is assembled. Our team needs $600 JUST to enter into the cycle. So that will take my chunk of the enterance fee out.

Went ahead and ordered more solder this morning along with supplies enough to make 2 more blend circuits if need be
