Big ol' bump because tickets for the upcoming tour are coming online on wednesday and I don't want to miss her again. Any Bay Area people going? I can do either date (6/1 or 6/2), but I'd rather do a date to meet up with some of you folks if you're thinking of going. I expect it'll sell out because it's San Francisco and it's Chelsea Wolfe.

Older stuff is better than new stuff but her whole darkwave-on-steroids aesthetic really appeals to me.

I'm sympathetic to D.o.S.'s theory that Chelsea Wolfe is Lana Del Rey for goths, and I'm okay with that.

Yeah, whoops, Lqna Del Rey and Chelsea Wolfe both make (very different) good music. I do think CW's aesthetic is pretty affected, and lotsa nerms get down with it. Alternatively, I still like it. Always gonna be down with good pretty music, even if I cannot write it.

I'm excited to see her in Chicago in less than 2 weeks (part of levitation). I am going solo as of right now, so if any of you folks are also going, let's meet up!

The youtube comments mention this sounding like an old radio station in space, which is exactly what I love about this song. I want to get that sound in my calmer project.
