Just took a pic of my board, can't wait for this!
And yeah, for some of us, all our pedals on at once can be a little mushy/farty. I think favorite sounds would be better if that contest happened....

Which Board?

Count me out... the only interesting pedlulz I had were the ones in the HCFX BOTB.
I can do a purdy photo of my new setup when I've wired it all up and decided which pedals go on the board but I'd feel like I'm cheating as I haven't even turned on the M9 yet (lack of powersupply/impossible to find locally for under $139.. pf).

QUESTION, may have been answered...Pedals on the floor legit? Referring to my tuner (shit just won't fit) and volume pedal.
phantasmagorovich wrote:So, I've been thinking about this. mostly about what to include in a board made up for this that will then be taken apart again and never used. Or if I should just post the home board like I used it even if that is a) Le Recognizable and b) not fancy fit for any votes. But I just love the sounds I can get out of it, even if it's not fanceay.
Thought about this too but I don't think it matters really, just excited to see the submissions personally. The Soundcloud thing is a great idea though...
Wired up a pretty large monster board (for me at least) to use while writing in my pal's new home studio. Figure I can work out a smaller board eventually after much experimentation. For now, I need most everything so my lazy ass only has to switch a couple things in and out without a major rewire/reorganization plus I've got some new stuff to get acquainted/experienced with.
Due to timing, it's this fucker I'll throw up for the contest. Not sure if option overload will boost or limit creativity but I do know I'd never run anything this large live. Shall be narrowed down over time.

That may be absolutely true

I just mean as far as having everything hooked up and having a power supply that can handle everything, it seems there will be a delay on Team Teslas so I may just spring for a cioks DC-10 or a Pussy Power to handle my power supply needs.

The DC-10 is tops (among currently available supplies), no shit! The Pussy Power version would've been even better but my supplies go under/within my boards and I couldn't see the point of hiding that fascinating finish.

Makes sense, I don't even know if I want to pay the extra $20 for the finish, it is awesome though.
My parents will probably find it so strange if they ever come to visit

i'd be interested since I finally have enough pedals to require more than one OneSpot.
parhaps aside from size based boards, we could do genre boards or something. best metalz, best bass, bess progz, best stoner/sludge/doom, best gays, etc.

2,000mA 9vAC
The CIOKS are overspec'd a little and I've checked and it is safe to use the two AC outlets of 800mA joined together (along with the tip convertor) to power the M9. It'd only leave 600mA DC 9/12 but that's enough for some of my Boss drives and such. Nothing fancy though as maximum of 200mA is a bit misleading when you say 600mA and think it's a bulk figure.
I'll mostly be using the AC10 to power the Kingsley Jester and all my other effects (Goatkeeper, Pitchblack, analog delay, compressor and Big Muff). I sourced an original PX2 M9 power supply finally
$29 - $20 less than what is quoted new. Score!

This needs to happen soon. I keep wanting to post my junk over in the "Let's See Your Board" thread, since I'm finally happy with it (for the moment), but I don't want to blow my load too early. I'd rather have my entry be a little more mysterious.
