Ryan, does the new Frazz a lot different from the Elements?
I think that sounds awesome, Syl, the north is beautiful in the summer and only for a couple months out of the year.. must be lovely up there, post some pics!
The Frazz and the Elements have nothing in common in terms of the devices they use and the kind of clipping/distortion they use, so they don't sound alike at all. The Frazz uses transistors and a LM386 for its gain/distortion and the Elements uses op amps and clipping diodes. I don't think they really overlap at all, neither can sound like the other. (some might disagree, like how some people think all rap music or death metal sounds the same, but I hear huge differences)
