My ritual is here. And I can take my lunch break whenever I want, but I need to finish work first. AND I KNOW NEXT TO NOTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL.

Fuck.

New computers are important. Glad to hear you're not dying any faster than expected. Much better news than the contrary.
Ha! You made that sound like you were just going for a casual ride down to the local shop to pick up some rice and chicken. I can now imagine you on a snowboard riding down the local high street with a Snickers bar listening to tunes on your mp3 player.

New computers are indeed very important, especially for me, but an enthusiast gaming PC, that's not as important. :p

Yeah, if I could have kept it to afford the Orang I would have. I don't need 3 heads laying around though as one would never get used. The Soldano is still here and covers any ground that the 2204 covered. If I ever do a grind project in the future that'll be the amp I use. Can't wait to run the ad140 and the Hotrod in a dual rig. As soon as my other guitarist gets the Sunn he just picked up running smoothly we'll both be running dual rigs.

Best of vintage and modern. That's similar to my end goal, years down the line.

Years down the line modern will be vintage.

That AOR might be the best goddamn decision I ever made. Sounds so so so so so so cool with the Orville just out of the shop, killing Sleep with the bridge pup and Kyuss with the neck.

God damn son, shit.

I've been plugging straight in, no pedals, no tuner, just fingers and max'd out pre-amp tubes

Damn. You did a bunch of soundproofing to your basement, right?
3 layers of acoustic tile(instead of sheetrock)
1 layer of 1-1/4"styrofoam
compressed r13(walls)
roxull safensound(ceiling)
i also removed all the nails connecting the walls to the house
most of them are just sealed with caulk in place
a shitload of it but its holding
i tried to get around the 1000s of dollars for pro studio materials
(resiliant channel,green glue,etc)
i found this construction adhesive thats suppose to be good forsound absorbsion
its actually intended for subfloors
i used a ton of that
and when it all dried up i remove as many screws as i feel comfortable
so to answer your question
FUCK YEAH
and im still workin on it
that door has 2 layers of acc. tile glued to it as well
That's a lot of work! I'm moving into a townhouse with a basement, and I'm trying to figure out how much soundproofing I'll need to do. Luckily it's an end unit, so hopefully not too too much.

Yeah. Initial testings are that it sounds super angry on bass, and really smooth on guitar. Seems to like being boosted, rather than boosting.

Yes it is. What are you boosting it with? In my setup it doesn't like having dirt in front of it at all.

I, too, have found it doesn't like dirt in front of it, and use it to push my DLS (with sexy results)
