This is one of the primary reasons it never leaves my setup, haha. Also at lower volumes it has a really nice, washed out dirt sound to it.

Carbon Copies do this weird reduced sample rate kind of sound when you crank the delay time, that's nice.
I love my digitech death...is the dod version different/any better?

I've never played a Digitech DM, but from my understanding the circuit is different in a way that prevents some of the chaos that the DOD version creates. Most people I know who've tried both prefer the DOD version.

Lately tho, I've been picking a few things off at random and using 'em on a small makeshift board at home. The goal is to delve deeper into each pedal, really wrap my mind around 'em once and for all. With the monster board, I'm constantly stomping on pedals ADHD-style without focusing on any one pedal and it's abilities. I basically find a setting to two that I love and go. Simplifying my board and limiting pedals is the only way I'll spend time actually experimenting and it's working thus far.
This is the setup I'm currently working with and lemme tell ya, this one could keep me busy for a long, long time. So much awesomeness, shit ton of variety.
Lastly, anyone that's yet to try a Soundwave Breakdown needs to get on that.

I like that board! I guess I should try the soundwave breakdown one of these days... and the disaster transport sr.

I had to follow up and mention how totally fucking awesome the Disaster Transport SR is after spending a few days really messing with it. First off, each delay sounds great on it's own and very different from one another. Cover tons of ground with Delay A going 600ms plus really cool modulation and Delay B being a 300ms option plus lush reverb.
But the best part is all the switching options and various ways to run/combine the pair of delays, really well thought out and each option sounds completely different from the last. You can also utilize the master bypass for true bypass operation or leave it "always on" and switch the individual delays to get at them trails! No toggle or internal switch, just choose on the fly, very nice. As for delays, you can run each separately OR run both simultaneously in parallel operation with the bleed control down to zero. Basically like running 'em side by side.
Then comes the awesomeness of the Bleed control, my favorite control. You can run things series by using only Delay A but turning the bleed control up to taste, automatically sending A output to Delay B's input and stacking those bitches. This is where the fun begins. Pitch shifting mod delay fed into verb'd out shorter pulsing delay and onward in that fashion. Really lush and spacious sounding.
Finally, you can run series/parallel by switching both Delays on AND turning the Bleed control up to taste. Now you're running 'em individually side by side along with feeding A (and all it's modulation) into B (and all it's verb) for some of the biggest, dreamiest, superbly awesome tape delay sounds I've ever heard. Just fucking nuts if you need it to be, in a smeary, warped, sonically pleasing way but not overly "warm" or dark. Voiced perfectly imo.
Anyway, awesome pedal, wanted to let everyone know they should get one.

Almost forgot, the Ditto rules as well! No need for detailed review, it functions smoothly with zero latency and pristine sound quality, great simple looper.
That's coming from a longtime fan of the DL4's looper and more recently the Timeline, best full featured looper I've ever owned. Regardless, the Ditto has it's place, def the best I've tried beyond those two with sound quality equal to that of the Timeline.

Most current. Only change I can see right now is trading out the Wren & Cuff Tri Pi 70 for more of an octave fuzz.

I'm more of an Overdrive guy than a Fuzz guy so I've tried a million different OD/Dirt/Fuzz pedals. The Woofer Wailer is the first OD pedal that I have had on my board that I didn't immediately find a flaw with. To be honest, I love it. It can go from a nice gentle push to a gritty Rat-esque distortion depending on how you have it all dialed in.

DOD is a little bit harsher and more middy/trebly sounding. Also I think the output is higher. But it's not as bassy.

Finally got it all together and wired up and working. First time I've had a pedalboard with a band to play it with so everything is functional and I got rid of the extras and the fun stuff but I still ended up with 13 pedals...

There is enough clean volume with the Super Duper 2 in 1 and the Angel Ring 2 blow up a glass window if you position the amp right next to it. (and it did

) The fuzz from the Echo Dream is all I ever need, definitely fav fuzz of all time and I got the singing tree there to goose it if I need to. (and the super duper to goose that)
So excited, got a super good deal on the zvex, way cheaper than a 2nd hand vexter and it looks really cool plus pedge points.

On the back of the pedaltrain I decided to do some electrical work (cause I'm trained) and now everything mounts in nice and flush with rca outs for my amp trem/reverb and in and outs, stuff is locking so it won't fall out. The vocal/sampler effects (Voice Box, Jamman and Hall of Fame) don't come out the back but I'll work on that later as needed. Just waiting for my Team Tesla to come back from repair and then everything will have it's own isolated out. Under the board I split the power input cable with one supply going to a Cioks AC8 and the other going to a 5V power jack to power the Tesla so I can power all my effects, all isolated using one powerpoint!
I am excited to say the least
