thrones?!AxAxSxS wrote:And show tonight was killer. Hot Victory is something to check out if you like drums and noise. I hesitate to call it noise. Very well orchestrated.
Thrones ( Joe Preston) made my head go to a better place. Serial. I had a shite day with bureaucrats, traffic jams, angry old men flipping me off because I was driving past them when they decided to back out of their parking spot. Just a bad vibe day. His stuff was mellow and serene and was probably a big part of why our set went over so well.
Seeing people get off on what you are putting out is a very cool thing. Shit got nuts there. This was one of those nights that makes all the work worth it.
So D's band is opening for Pentagram tomorrow, dudes been awol from here lately so I thought I'd share that. Very much looking forward to it. Sick lineup all the way through on that one. I can't wait for the show.
pentagram?!?!

I haven't seen it but I don't know what kind of shape it is in. Matt said it was missing some knobs but I dunno what else may be up with it. The same guy just listed a 60 watt VTM, a 2x15 and two 2.x12 with horn p.a. cabs for $425. All of it sold before I could get to it though.

So I have a bass rig again.

The rattling is stuff in my basement on the walls and on shelves. Recording this rig in my basement is gonna be a nightmare.
And a family shot:

It's a parts bass. Unknown Green sparkle body (was originally white), might mite maple neck, black hardware, and a Kent Armstrong pickup with some nice pots and a mojo cap. Strung with .70-.130's tuned C standard.
I acuired it a while ago in a trade deal and then sold it to Sonny 6 months ago, who then sold it back to me last weekend.
And thanks! There is definitely some fun to come once I get a board back together.
Thinking Tuner > Fuzz > Volume > Vibe > Boost. And maybe a delay if I have enough funds left over.
