Lately tho, I've been picking a few things off at random and using 'em on a small makeshift board at home. The goal is to delve deeper into each pedal, really wrap my mind around 'em once and for all. With the monster board, I'm constantly stomping on pedals ADHD-style without focusing on any one pedal and it's abilities. I basically find a setting to two that I love and go. Simplifying my board and limiting pedals is the only way I'll spend time actually experimenting and it's working thus far.
This is the setup I'm currently working with and lemme tell ya, this one could keep me busy for a long, long time. So much awesomeness, shit ton of variety.
Lastly, anyone that's yet to try a Soundwave Breakdown needs to get on that.

You just HAD to go with the Pussy Power, didn't you? You had to go there.

Haha, was not deliberate. Just happens to be my only supply that's not currently buried within one of my real boards. The Pussy Power is busy pulling "at home" duties. For now....

The Disaster Sr and Ditto are actually brand new but so far so good.
The Disaster Sr sounds amazing and has TONS of sounds within. Dual tape-style delays, one long (600ms) and one short (300ms),one with mod and the other with verb, bleed function, and a really clever parallel/series/true bypass switching setup. You can run 'em solo or together, then hit the master bypass and take the Disaster outta the chain altogether OR keep the master bypass on at all times and use the Delay A/B switch to utilize the "trails" function when switching off. Also has expression function for each delay but I haven't made it that far yet. Oh, it rules being hit with fuzz/dirt too, something EQD always addresses in their pedal design thankfully.
As for sounds, they're gorgeous. Can go really subtle or totally fucking whacked out. The mod is pretty intense when you go pushing the depth and rate, can even approach pitch bending Clari(not) territory and the verb sounds nice. Not quite the Ghost Echo but good nonetheless. It really starts to get lush and swirly and all out weird when you utilize the bleed and funnel Delay A into Delay B.
I have a LaoWiz built Multiplex that also kicks ass, like a 3-mode tape based delay that includes all the classics and a tape speed momentary switch for the crazies. These two delays cover most any tape sound I'm after. Prefer bo†h the the dTape setting on my Timeline.
You make it sound so promising. Any chance you can run a bass through it at some point? The Ghost Disaster is great on guitar, but I don't care for it much on bass.
So the LaoWiz sounds about as sexy as it looks, that's impressive.

It's a great power supply, regardless of name and or colour scheme.

Yeah, the CIOKS stuff is the best, hands down. I've sold all my PP2+'s in the past couple years and replaced with a fleet of three DC10s and that Pussy Power there. Couldn't be happier with that decision.

Generally, my supplies reside under removable floors in my boards, hidden from view entirely. It's a rare moment when the PP gets to come out and show off it's tasteless name and gaudy graphic design/color scheme.

It definitely sounds fantastic on guitar but I've never owned a Disaster Transport or the Ghost Disaster so I can't make direct comparisons. I'll check it out on bass later today or tomorrow night tho and let you know how it fares.
And yes, both LaoWiz and his pedal builds are incredibly awesome! The Multiplex sounds so good too and sports 3 modes to emulate classis shiz like the Binson, Roland Space Echo, and Echoplex plus a momentary stomp to increase and decrease tape speed for the whacked out delay. It's not as feature heavy as the EQD but covers a lot of cool sounds the EQD can't. They compliment one another very well. 1776 did a great job with the circuit design so kudos to those dudes.
Also, LaoWiz hit me up a couple weeks back to let me know 1776 released an add-on modulation circuit recently. He's gonna test it and offered to rehouse and add at a later date if it sounds good. Super awesome guy to deal with. After getting the Multiplex and his Foxx Tone Machine clone, I lost control and placed a fatty order with him. Should be completed in the not too distant future.
For those who haven't seen LaoWiz's stuff, here's the three I have now. His design aesthetic and etching is some of the coolest I've ever seen, like a weathered mash up of DBA and old school EHX. Everything sounds as good as it looks too which is saying a lot. Such a nice guy too, happy I finally got around to ordering some stuff from him.

Here I come, crashing the party once again...
Bass "board" as of today:

Just got the tuner in. Works quite well for a 15€ deal (shipping included

). Snagged the Behringer BDI for cheaps on the used market too... The only thing I bought new is the limiter thingy... was also cheap. The actual board for the pedals is already built, the power supply too.. I just need that as a small "gig-board" for the guitar pedals until april 5th. Then I'm free from band duties again and I can focus on getting some fuzz/dirt for dat bass board.

I have the DC-10 and I've very happy with it. The layout is new to me and I prefer the way my T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon works, but it's a lot quieter than that one and feels more robust. I'll probably pick up a Ciokolate, the CIOKS behemoth, and run that for my big board with my Fuel Tank Chameleon and then use my DC-10 for my gigging small board. It's quieter and more secure, so perfect.

The Ciokolate would be perfect for me but my boards are separated into internal compartments. There's grommets everywhere for wiring but I can't house that monster as a result of the dividers in there. Sadly.
The PP2+ is also great and reliable and quiet, just lacked the power I needed for some Strymon stuff and my power hungry Faye's Her. I miss the aux AC outlet for sure as I used 'em to chain my supplies together. I had a Fuel Tank Chameleon at one point too. On paper, that thing is perfect. High current outs and a low price. In reality tho, mine was noisy and the 18V out never worked as advertised.
CIOKS offers the smallest, most robust supplies capable of delivering lots of power. They're also dead silent and I run so much shit at once normally so that's impressive. True bypass loopers are key in that regard too. The fancy LED status indicators are great too along with the fact it can operate at 115V or 230V. If only they were a little less expensive they'd truly be the perfect supply.
Hey def have a juvenile love of sex jokes tho. First the Pussy Power and it's throbbing LED, now the huge chocolate colored monster that is the Ciokolate. Sexual innuendo is strong with that company ....
