If my Eastwood airline bobkat is any indication, they make damn fine copies. It's my second eastwood and both are stellar.

Yeah, I'm pretty much in love with anything that TK Smith builds.

I don't think he posted a price, but all his stuff (guitars & parts) are pretty expensive (totally worth it though).

I think the "Jimmie" he's referring to is Jimmie Vaughn.

I don't know any more. Had ordered the the Count to 5, but had to stop the transaction because I didn't get payed this month. Originally I planned to buy it at the end of this month, but I'm not really sure anymore. Everytime I buy something cool and weird, I get bored with it and don't end up using it, and eventually it gets sold. Maybe I'm just a boring old fuzz/delay guy and should stick to that? I'm thinking about getting another Raptio because it's the only other effect I use regularly. Dual raptio?

Oh, and I want a Mustang with a JM-trem and goldfoil pups.

I need a need audio interface I think. This Fast Track Solo from AVID keeps bluescreening my fairly high spec computer. I can't figure out why...

I do this an awful lot. I wish I could afford to keep everything around because I do really enjoy the crazy stuff a lot, just not all the time.

I want the Devi BDSM to be available nao. Gots to have.

Those are sweet sounding mics. Used one when I did a sound production course. Buy it. Buy it now! :poke:

Yeah. I had the Goodbye 24 and it was FUCKING AWESOME. But it was also something that I had a harder time using. It can be used if you're writing around it but that wasn't something I was doing. It was great for ambient little bits between songs and doing some looping stuff but I can accomplish so much with the stuff on my board that I use regularly that it seemed to be taking up space. Knowing how much people adore them and how hard they could be to come by I let mine go to another Fuzzer for a good price hoping that it would see a helluva lot more use.

I did the same thing with the Organizer. It was cool as hell and I loved the sounds I could make but they weren't anything I would use for what I'm writing.

The thing about the GB24 is that it's super versatile if you can take the time to dial in a sound.
Around the 1x speed mark, you can get chorus, phasing, or even ring-mod type sounds.
I had a delay setting the other day that sounded almost totally normal, except the delays slowly and almost unnoticeably went down in pitch.
It basically just sounded like modulated delay.

A lot of the more extreme settings sound pretty similar, but the subtle settings on there are where the pedals strengths are, IMO.

Good to know I'm not the only one thinking like this. And I agree; if I had the money I would have totally kept stuff like the Rainbow Machine, but as things are I can't really take the luxury of having a pedal laying around for awesome sounds now and then. I try to tell myself that in time I can have a more massive collection. For now I should settle for the stuff I actually use regularly.

That being said, there are still plenty of fuzzes and delays I gas for, that would definitely get their fair share of use.

Digging through the projects thread, and now ebay, looking at cheap-ass Teiscos for projects. I could afford some of them, but I don't know if it would be a good idea right now.

But I'm also itching for a crazy beater guitar for those busted-ass tones.
