I generally have 2 large-ish boards wired up for individual use, each with a 5-channel true bypass looper I use to separate effects into smaller "banks". Most times, I'll just run both boards together so I have access to a huge array of stuff.
Lately tho, I've been picking a few things off at random and using 'em on a small makeshift board at home. The goal is to delve deeper into each pedal, really wrap my mind around 'em once and for all. With the monster board, I'm constantly stomping on pedals ADHD-style without focusing on any one pedal and it's abilities. I basically find a setting to two that I love and go. Simplifying my board and limiting pedals is the only way I'll spend time actually experimenting and it's working thus far.
This is the setup I'm currently working with and lemme tell ya, this one could keep me busy for a long, long time. So much awesomeness, shit ton of variety.
Lastly, anyone that's yet to try a Soundwave Breakdown needs to get on that.

I am not Josh! But I will tell you that the Iron Pig is RADICAL. I've had a big box Rat for at least ten years and it will now be sold or a paperweight. The Iron Pig does all that it does and a hundred things more. Between all those clipping options and then the dist/OD switch it covers miles of ground. I've run it with my small practice amps and my stack too. Some good combos:
humbucker > Iron Pig > Naga Viper > any amp you like
single coil > Iron Pig > Echorec > Carbon Copy > 18 watt Marshall style amp (never ran this chain with the big rig yet)
It is so good.

Also love my Iron Pig, super glad I jumped on that presale! I just spent the last few weeks exploring that thing pretty in depth and it impressed. Easily all the RAT I'll ever need in one place.

I like that board! I guess I should try the soundwave breakdown one of these days... and the disaster transport sr.

Well, I have two ProCo Rats that I will probably end up selling. I already sold a Rat Tail because of it.
Does that help?
(p.s. I'll let that big box Rat go if the right offer comes along...)

Assuming you're deep enough into the Disaster Sr. how are you liking that bugger? Especially since you already have/had a decent amount of delay pedals.

The Disaster Sr and Ditto are actually brand new but so far so good.
The Ditto is the perfect simple no frills looper. I still use my Timeline for the crazy shit (reverse/half-speed/double-speed/etc), basically everything I used to use my beloved DL4 to do in terms of looping and then some. The Ditto is the polar opposite. Both are fantastic.
The Disaster Sr sounds amazing and has TONS of sounds within. Dual tape-style delays, one long (600ms) and one short (300ms),one with mod and the other with verb, bleed function, and a really clever parallel/series/true bypass switching setup. You can run 'em solo or together, then hit the master bypass and take the Disaster outta the chain altogether OR keep the master bypass on at all times and use the Delay A/B switch to utilize the "trails" function when switching off. Also has expression function for each delay but I haven't made it that far yet. Oh, it rules being hit with fuzz/dirt too, something EQD always addresses in their pedal design thankfully.
As for sounds, they're gorgeous. Can go really subtle or totally fucking whacked out. The mod is pretty intense when you go pushing the depth and rate, can even approach pitch bending Clari(not) territory and the verb sounds nice. Not quite the Ghost Echo but good nonetheless. It really starts to get lush and swirly and all out weird when you utilize the bleed and funnel Delay A into Delay B.
I have a LaoWiz built Multiplex that also kicks ass, like a 3-mode tape based delay that includes all the classics and a tape speed momentary switch for the crazies. These two delays cover most any tape sound I'm after. Prefer bo†h the the dTape setting on my Timeline.
