Actually no. I mean I am VERY Serious about fulfilling my role as the RHYTHM guitarist. I practice and practice and practice all so I can nail the set every time we get up there. I idolize Malcolm Young. But I don't know the names of the notes and I don't really know any chords. I have a philosophy about two guitar bands that revolve around fuzz. Twelve fucking strings is too many to be going all at once. 99% of the time I play the root and the fifth and that's it. Sometimes to take it a to a little bit heavier place I move the ring finger over one and hit the octave while my pointer finger plays the root and whatever is next door there. I have never played the two skinniest strings on stage ever. I think it takes way more manballs to stand down and not try to hog spotlights and really support your songs and bandmates and that's just what I do. I'm not an attention whore. But guess what! Alot of other rockers sure do appreciate my approach and then I end up fielding more questions than anybody else in the band after the set. It's a weird deal.
