Oh, yeah, I agree, Tristan. That guy's a good guitarist, he's just playing in a style that's nothing like how I'd play. Obviously, I don't mind heavily processed guitar sounds, but the way he's got his guitar processed there is something I just wouldn't go anywhere near myself. It's tough to tell from a YouTube clips how a guitar is actually gonna sound though. I think those pickups probably sound good in real life. I'd definitely wanna play a guitar like that in person before laying down that much cash for one.

Well, the guy can play (kinda slick though) but I was talking about the guitar really, I dunno, maybe it was a stupid description from me but what I meant was that this kind of sustain and singing quality paired with enough openness and punch usually makes up for a pretty great guitar.
I don't know about the pickups, they could be great, it's a bit peculiar that this same kind of piezo quality appears in both video's but yeah it could also just be youtube.

Yeah, :idk: I'd have to hear them in person to make a better assessment.

I also don't know if the sound is any better in this vid by everyone's favorite guitarist (playing through everyone's favorite amp):

@Chankz:
Yep, I'm loving it! :eek:
Well, that Nashville strung guitar and Espana sound pretty nice, he even plays differently on those...

I love it how he sticks Bartolinis in everthing.

(That Pete Cosey guitar was pretty nice too.)

Hum. I want this. Like bad. It was cool in sunburst. But sunbursts are ugly. And black is awesome. So super awesome.

That is effing gorgeous. What is it? I'm guessing the switches are separate on/offs?
