Yes, the switch is for the diodes. The MKI and MKII didn't have diodes, so the switch *adds* diodes, from a historical perspective.

Here is the schematic:

Right now it's a straight clone of a certain boutique dirt box. But I'm going to tweak it a bit and then release it as a new project. I just made up a random name so nobody would be able to figure out what it is.

Built a fuzzrite today. Didn't have any 5mm bezels so I made a filtered window of sorts. I like it. Not sure where the blue and white motif spawned from.

Made a pair of these :

I had to check that off the list of things I've built as I've only played another persons clone. Needless to say it's even better than I remember it being :thumb:

True story.

I really like the idea of the inverted film caps as well, nice build.

For a second I thought, "Ezekiel!?" but that's not it. :poke: ...maybe a rat?
Having the caps inverted makes it really easy to work with, and saves space. On the other hand, if I didn't put the board on the pots, the height wouldn't be an issue.

It only took me however long ago that was, to get around to making this one  Didn't you do some mods to it?

Ha, you still got around to it though, and it looks good.

I just did an input cap blend, nothing special.

I ended up gutting it out recently anyway.
