Maniac was a huge mess, but I mostly liked it anyway.

I passed on this for so long for some reason, but recently binged all there is of Bojack in like three days...
Bojack is really good. Overall, and especially the occasional episode where they do one extra, out-of-the-box-thing...
Still continuing to tell the story mind you, but taking chances on what you can get away with
yah. the series really holds up to multiple viewings too.

the first season or so has densely packed background jokes, the heart breaking and Let's Get WEIRD With It episodes are more enjoyable/HEART BREAKING with the built in contextual clue absorbtion.

loveeeeee it.

I guess the Riverdale creators are finally moving on to Sabrina the teenage witch. :snax:

The missus and I watched Sylvio on Prime Video earlier tonight.

Total cult classic potential. :animal:

So apparently the director’s cut of robocop is up on amazon prime....

Also, I’m about to binge the shit out of big mouth season 2.

We finally watched Evil Genius and that was a messed up ride. I honestly had no idea that was a real case; I had seen 30 Minutes or Less a few years ago, but had no idea it was based on real events!

Also, we finally finished Trapped earlier. It's an Icelandic mystery that we had started watching months ago and never finished, but it was actually really, really good.

The original.

Yeah the Verhoeven film is clearly superior to the remake though I'll be honest I liked the remake. Robocop 2 is one of the finest movies from my childhood.

I have no idea what the castle rock hype is about. Just doesn’t seem to be that great.

I peeped all of the Knights of Sedonia and that was pretty cool despite the weird sex tentacle implications. It's too bad it's been in limbo for so long. I might actually get the compilations and read it..

The CGI animation style in Knights of Sedonia seemed a bit fonky at first, but grew on me while absorbing the series and its many-tentacled, cloney twists.

I reached the conclusion of Battlestar Gallactica ('04) a few days ago and was left unsatisfied. It wasn't clear if details were missed when dozing off during late nights binge watching sessions or if certain questions were left unanswered.

All the Bojack Horseman talk here resulted in me giving the series another chance. So far, it seems better this go, though this may be the product of greater familiarity with Will Arnett's work via Arrested Development and Flaked.

Satisfying conclusions are overrated. I will say you're not alone in disliking the end of bsg though plenty of people hate it.
