Ugh, I don't understand that forum and I'm friends with quite a few guys on there. It would be a lot more interesting if they combined it into 4 or so different sub forums rather than 30. Very few of the subfora get enough traffic to make them worthwhile. They have enough members though that if they combined a lot of the forums, the overall board would be much more interesting.

Yeah,...a quick check of the effects subforum,....last post that wasn't in the PYPB sticky was March 17th. Nah. I "belong" to enough forums. I really don't like to venture much out of FX and OT on TB anyway. Basses and Amps is to full of blowhards regurgitating their opinions.

I really don't spend much time on TB to justify my plunking down another $20 on the year. That and at some point I may have to pay for a commercial user license so I can list D.Huff/Zeller stuff in the Bazaar subforums. We'll see.

also, went to Guitar Center to pick up a cable, was dreading talk to idjits that didn't take the time to know about what they were selling, then felt like a tool because i didn't know enough to pick the right cable. SORTA justified when the GC guy had no idea too? i guess?

i spaced the 1/4 male to 1/4 XLR cable i use to make it easier on sound guys that want to run the bass DI to FOH. only ones they had at GC were TRS. instrument cables are NOT TRS. i know that patch cables that are TRS don't work sometimes, but i'm enough of a git to not really understand why.

it's a balanced 1/4 inch out. do i need to find a non-TRS 1/4 inch side cable? or will the TRS work fine?

MAN that's a lot of TRS's in one post. WIN!
