^^^ Thanks, that's about what I thought. I'm gonna make this store an offer soon enough if it's still sitting there once I get some money.

What's the general consensus on the Ibanez Artist reissues? Someone has one...Pelliot maybe?
Yup! It's a really great guitar for the money. Feels very similar to my Les Paul (which is juuuuuust right) and the coil tapping is wonderful for switchin up dem tones. Stock pickups are good. Much better than the ones that came in my Epi LPC. Plus it looks hot. Chicks dig it.
What model did you end up with? I really really dig the look of the black/gold AR-220, but it doesn't have the same pickups that the higher models have.
I got an AR320 with the vintage burst. I know what you mean, that's a good-looking guitar. It might be worth trying to hunt down a used AR220 and upgrading the pickups. I still prefer the sound of the Duncan Distortion in my LP, just for stock pickups on a cheap guitar the Ibanez pups are very good.

Definitely on my list of guitars to buy. I am torn though, I really want to just save up and buy a nice Les Paul finally. Either way I can't afford shit right now.

Soooooo.... Bass players...... Regular fridge (8x10) or 1540HE (4x10 + 2x15) for single cab badassery in B or A standard. Will be powered by the NMV Wizard, which one should I get and why?!?! :idk:

OR just get 2 fridges n call it a day.

I'd go with the 1540. Down in B or A std, those 15s will make a big difference, and with the 4x10s pushing most of the mids and highs for you, you'll have a heck of a sound there.

Don't you have a 4x10 and 2x15 separately anyway? Or was that a 412?

HAD..... no longer have, sold them when I bought the Matamp cab. Plus I want something more traditional so if I'm playing a fest or something with a provided backline I'm used to the cab they have there, which is usually a fridge. Which is why I was contemplating it.

I loved my Ampeg 8x10 when I played bass in a crust band. We tuned to B and I slammed it with a Russian Muff, Pharaoh, and Rat and it always held up and put out plenty of low end. That said, I'm sure a 2x15 and 4x10 cab would rule pretty hard too.

Man, just got asked to open for The Body in March. I hope my band mate's work schedules will allow it.

i thought 10's don't do well on low end...I'm talking about guitar not bass though...

Just plugged straight in to my OR-15 and man that's the sound I want. I'm going to stop trying to make the pedals fit the amp and just let it do its thing. Looks like I'll have a lot of fuzz for sale. Still holding on to a few for my eventual bass board (when I have the funds for a bass rig).

I just wanted to thicken up the bass/lo mids a little bit, thinking Pharaoh might do a good job? I'm just looking for a fuzz to use a slight bass boost and maybe add a little extra character.
