The Subdecay Starlight flanger has been on my want-list for a long time. Flange is probably my favorite modulation sound and I adore anything with a random setting.

Got a box yesterday from one of our Detroit connection containing a handwritten note, enough bottle caps to buy a small wasteland, some sticks, and two pedals.

The Gyroscope is a pretty dope little filter box with some quirks to it. I wish it was a bit brighter overall, but it's got some neat sounds in it that I think I'll get some use out of. It sounds especially good combined with my 20/20
The black box is a clone of the Phantom Octave. I had one a while ago that I really regret selling and I'm super glad to have one back in house. It sounds way better than I remember it; like a vintage octave fuzz that actually has some balls and some more acidity to it. It stacks really well my hm2 as well, so that's pretty much guaranteed its spot on the board.

Damn fine secret santa this year. The only real negative was the sebadoh sticker he sent got kinda thrashed.

With the gyro, try the range at 9 o'clock, aux at 3 o'clock and res at 2 o'clock.
I didn't like it that much on the tourbox but now I have one on my board and use it all the time. Getting the relationship between the range and the aux is tough but there is a fair bit of control there. Stacks well with fuzz too.

I just got a pick up slip for a package from a John Edwards...
