"If you're playing with guitars, don't use effects, because they use effects. And you'll cancel each other out." TRUE FACTS.

Oh, btw, awesome demo behndy. I dig! Though you sound nothing like I'd imagined. That seems to happen to me a lot.

Are we still thinking about a BATBHPBWYAI noise collaboration?

Potential Submission to get that off the ground

I can likely provide a .wav file to whomever knows what to do with it.

That's awesome! Jason Beckers Perpetual burn was one of my favorite shred albums growing up. Perspective remains one of my fav cds. It really is a sad story about him.

it's AMAZING that he finished an album after being confined to a wheelchair and he can only move his eyes and tongue pretty much. he's from out here and has lived here forever so a lot of local cats in the Bay know him. a couple of my friends are actually doing a bio about him and this benefit concert and it DID sell out so i wanted somebody else to go that was more in to guitar music. but a friend that helped set it up needs help selling t-shirts so i'm gonna go.

it's crazy that he's still so nice and funny after everything he's gone through. way better person than i.

It doesn't really matter as they are a oxymoron.

I haven't played an ABG yet that wasn't horribly disappointing. They're always so clanky and quiet...

Maybe I haven't played the good ones, though. I'd imagine they need hewwwj bodies.

yeah, the best one i played was a 5-string epiphone with a mahoosive body. it sounded really earthy when you didn't play hard enough for it to clank.

but if Violent Femmes can make it work...

I have the identical Alvarez ABG that Mike Inez uses in the AIC Unplugged concert. I really LOVE that thing. Just had some Thomastiks put on it recently and I must say...WOW!!!

Violent Femmes us a Ernie Earthwood which is 8" deep 19" wide and like 25" and they are the only one that have ever worked.

I've played ABG that sell for over 7 Gs and although they sound and play nice they just arn't loud enough. It's physics: to get freq X you need a resonating camber at Y to get it to work in a acoustic situation.

Dosn't mean I don't want one... but I have always been disappointed.

Really? I played one once when they first came out and the bridge was off so it would not intonate past the 7th fet :idk:

I have a masterfully made custom bridge on it. It whoops so much ass!
